About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and manage store construction and development projects across all stages—from planning and design to execution and store opening. The role involves overseeing architecture, interior design, vendor coordination, and ensuring that each store reflects the brand’s identity while meeting timelines, quality standards, and budgets.
This position will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our retail presence and ensuring smooth execution of our expansion strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning & Execution
- Implement store opening plans in line with the organization’s retail expansion strategy.
- Manage the complete project lifecycle including planning, budgeting, scheduling, design, vendor selection, construction, and handover.
- Ensure adherence to timelines, cost control measures, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams, architects, vendors, and contractors for seamless project delivery.
2. Design & Development
- Oversee architectural, interior, and landscape design for roadside and commercial real estate projects.
- Ensure design aesthetics align with brand identity while optimizing functionality and customer experience.
- Review and approve store layouts, drawings, and specifications.
3. Community & Customer-Centric Development
- Develop store concepts that are customer-focused and integrate well with the local community.
- Adapt designs to suit local contexts, ensuring relevance and appeal to target audiences.
4. Innovation & Transformation
- Lead the development of new store formats that anticipate future retail trends.
- Drive innovation in store design, construction engineering, and operational transformation.
- Integrate e-commerce and sustainability elements into physical retail spaces.
- Present creative store concepts and visuals to real estate owners, developers, and key stakeholders.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with leadership, marketing, operations, and procurement teams to align project objectives.
- Manage departmental transfers and organizational changes within the scope of project-related work.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering / architecture / interior design / construction management or a related field.
- Master’s degree or certification in Project Management (PMP / PRINCE2) is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience , preferably in retail, luxury, or jewelry store development .
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control .
- Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and design plans.
- Hands-on experience in vendor management, construction supervision, and site coordination .
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong sense of design aesthetics and brand alignment .
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations , and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in MS Project / AutoCAD / project management tools.
