We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Director of Photography (DOP) with strong expertise in camera handling, lighting, and an added ability to manage on-set and post-production audio recording workflows.
In this role, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality visuals and maintaining professional audio standards for YouTube videos, online courses, events, and promos. The ideal candidate will have minimum 2 years of experience in production environments, and familiarity with editing and audio tools will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Camera Handling & Filming

- Ensure consistent framing, focus, lighting balance, and cinematic feel during recording.
Lighting & Visual Setup
- Plan and execute lighting setups tailored to indoor, green screen, webinar, or low-light environments.
- Maintain optimal exposure, tone, and contrast across different setups and formats.
- Collaborate with the creative team to translate storyboards and scripts into visual assets.
Audio Recording On-Set (If Sync Sound is Adopted)
- Set up and operate microphones, audio recorders, and sound equipment during shoots.
- Ensure noise-free sync sound recording, with clarity and consistency in tone.
- Assign and oversee a team member to monitor live audio quality during multi-camera setups.
Audio Post-Production (Required)
- Clean and enhance recorded audio using EQ, compression, and noise reduction tools.
- Accurately sync audio to video timelines in post-production.
- Mix and balance dialogue, background music (BGM), sound effects (SFX), and ambience for final outputs. Collaborate with the editing team and director to match audio tone with visuals for best viewer experience.
Pre-Shoot & On-Shoot Coordination
- Plan and prepare equipment based on shoot requirements shared by creative leads.
- Conduct gear tests, backups, and checklists before every shoot.
- Ensure on-set readiness, direction, and smooth execution during filming.
Post-Production Support (Added Advantage)
- Assist in basic editing, trimming, and sequence creation.
- Support video editors by organizing and labelling raw footage for efficient handover.
- Familiarity with tools like Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, or similar is desirable.
- Should have a strong sense of Motion graphics-based production
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Mass Media, Film Production, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in camera operation and production environments.
- Experience with audio recording, syncing, and editing workflows is essential.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in audio tools like Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, Logic Pro, Reaper, etc.
- Understanding of EQ, reverb, compression, SFX layering, and mixing workflows.
