Role Description:

We’re looking for a creative sound engineer to design the complete soundscape for our 2D animated short films. You’ll be responsible for crafting mood-driven sound design using royalty-free elements — bringing life, depth, and immersion to each frame. The role involves working closely with the director to match every sound cue, ambience, and effect to the tone of the scene.

Responsibilities:

• Design and mix complete soundscapes for short-format 2D animated films (4–6 mins/week)
• Layer, synchronize, and balance multiple audio tracks (dialogue-free projects) using DAWs such as Reaper, Pro Tools, or Adobe Audition
• Source and integrate royalty-free music, ambient beds, and Foley to enhance visual storytelling
• Apply EQ, compression, and reverb to achieve broadcast-quality mixes
• Align sound intensity and dynamics to match visual pacing and scene emotion
• Deliver final mixes in stereo format optimized for YouTube and social media platforms

Requirements:

• Proficiency in DAWs such as Reaper, Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, or equivalent
• Strong understanding of sound layering, EQ, compression, reverb, and panning
• Ability to clean, edit, and balance multiple audio layers for dynamic scenes
• Experience in Foley, ambience creation, and cinematic sound effects
• Familiarity with royalty-free sound libraries and licensing norms
• Capable of delivering polished, high-quality audio for 4–6 minutes of animation weekly
• Strong sense of timing, rhythm, and emotional tone matching
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work within structured deadlines

- Prior experience of working with Content QC, Metadata XML, Audio / Video Editing.

Key Responsibilities

• Explore, experiment, and produce music using AI composition tools (Suno, AIVA, Soundraw, Amper, etc.) along with traditional DAWs/software (Ableton, Logic Pro, FL Studio).
• Collaborate with writers to transform concepts into complete audio-visual experiences .
• Adapt music for multiple formats – short-form (ads, reels, jingles) and long-form (tracks, background scores).
• Research and integrate emerging AI music trends into projects.

Qualifications – Who Can Apply

• Students pursuing or graduates in Music, Performing Arts, Sound Engineering, Fine Arts , or related fields.
• Basic knowledge of instruments (keyboard, guitar, percussion, etc.) or DAWs (Ableton, Logic Pro, FL Studio, GarageBand).

• Lead audio post-production processes for film, television, and digital media.
