Position Overview:

KEUS is a smart home automation solutions provider that caters to premium and luxury customers. Is looking for a CAD Engineer in the operations department. Someone who understands electrical planning on AutoCAD and site Electrical Drawings well, and proposes solutions with home automation products to the customer, could be a good fit for the role. This role also needs to interact with different stakeholders

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand the site drawings and propose a solution with home automation products at the customer's premises
• Understand the electrical drawings and furniture / false ceiling plan in the CAD files to propose a more accurate solution
• Collaborating with other stakeholders like customers, interior designers, and electrical contractors to understand project requirements and design specifications.
• Maintaining and updating drawings and documentation throughout the project lifecycle

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD 3D Furniture Designer to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in furniture design, with hands-on experience using AutoCAD 3D or CAD+T software. Your primary responsibility will be to conceptualize, design, and detail custom and modular furniture pieces, ensuring both functionality and aesthetic appeal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop 3D models and detailed technical drawings of furniture pieces using AutoCAD 3D, CAD+T, or similar design software.
• Work closely with the design, production, and sales teams to translate concepts into manufacturable designs.
• Optimize designs for material efficiency, ease of production, and structural integrity.
• Revise designs based on feedback from stakeholders and manufacturing feasibility.
• Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and industry best practices.
• Maintain an organized library of design files and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2–3 years minimum experience in 3D furniture design (modular and/or custom).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D is a must. Experience with CAD+T is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with other 3D design tools (e.g., SketchUp, SolidWorks, 3ds Max) is a bonus.
• Strong understanding of joinery, materials, fittings, and furniture manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical/Civil), Architecture, or related field is preferred.
• Diploma holders in a relevant field may also be considered based on experience and skill level.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct new project site measurements and prepare detailed reports.
• Create civil layout plans as per project requirements.
• Design lighting and AC planning layouts and share requirements with the procurement team.
• Coordinate with the Category Team for sectional and divisional layouts based on sales mix.
• Plan and prepare drawings for wall & floor fixtures and raise procurement requirements accordingly.
• Prepare façade designs and layouts .
• Maintain and update the Master Sheet for all stores for records and future reference.

Candidate must be able to create detailed AutoCAD illustrations specific to the furniture industry. Candidate must also be able to accurately supervise production of the designed furniture.

The candidate must be passionate about furniture design and interior design.

The candidate must have and have a strong eye for detail and be up to date with the latest trends in furniture and interior design.

After training, Candidates must be able to handle clients and projects independently and overlook projects from design to production in a time and cost-efficient manner.

Candidates must create strong content for advertising communication and sales communication e.g. communicating potential ideas to clients and final designs to our craftsmen.

Candidates must be self-motivated, punctual, dependable, and a strong team player.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Candidates must be proficient in AutoCAD.
