Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Assembly Automation Engineer who will be responsible for the design and development of assembly automation systems for various applications such as engine assembly lines, battery pack assembly lines, gantries, pallets, lifters, conveyors, and material handling systems. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in Solid Edge and hands-on experience in designing automated assembly and material handling solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Conceptualize, design, and develop assembly automation solutions for automotive and industrial applications.
2.Design and develop assembly lines, stations, and fixtures for engine assembly, battery pack assembly , and other automated processes.
3.Create 3D models, layouts, and detailed 2D drawings using Solid Edge.
Design gantries, pallets, lifters, conveyors, and material handling systems based on project requirements.
4.Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM), manufacturing drawings, and assembly documentation.
5.Conduct design reviews, feasibility studies, and cost estimation for proposed solutions.
6.Support prototype development, installation, and commissioning activities at customer sites.
7.Ensure adherence to GD&T standards, industry practices, and safety regulations.
Required Skills & Experience:
4 to 8 years of experience in assembly automation and special-purpose machine design.
Strong expertise in Solid Edge for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
Hands-on experience in:
Assembly line design (Engine/Battery Pack/Component Assembly)
