Role and Responsibilities:

• Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables
• Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan
• Write, document, and maintain automated testing solutions
• Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results
• Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members
• Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management
• Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements
• Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on QA automation testing experience in a web / API / Performance, while adhering to Agile methodologies
• Ability to research, document, and present solutions, implement testing framework from start to finish
• Proficient in load/performance testing with JMeter
• Proficient writing automated test scripts for functional testing using frameworks such as Selenium
• Functional test experience(web), git experience, JavaScript knowledge
• Proficient with maintaining test automation frameworks and tools
• Proficient in utilizing page objects in the automated testing solution
• Experience in API testing, performance, Functional testing
• Excellent knowledge in Testng framework
• Writing clear, concise detail-oriented test plans/cases (JIRA is a plus)
• Liaison with development, project management, and customer support.

Must have minimum 5+ experience in preparing software test cases, test plans & executing them.
Must have worked in Agile development environment and familiar with all Agile/Scrum process.
Possess sound knowledge on Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
Very strong in development and implementation of test scripts using Selenium.
Very strong in development and implementation of test scripts using Selenium.
Design, develop & execute UI test cases , web service test cases and DB test cases.
Review and contribute to requirements analysis and agile story grooming to ensure testability.
Determine Test strategy based on requirements analysis.
Report testing status to QA Manager and Project Team daily/weekly.
Must be familiar with the use of JIRA for Defect logging, Defect tracking, Defect Analysis.
Must be a good team player and possess analytical mind set. Demand Prioritization

Position Description:

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Design and develop automated test scripts using testing frameworks such as Selenium/Cucumber/BDD framework
• xecute automated test scripts and analyze results to identify defects or issues
• C llaborate with development team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• D sign and maintain automated test suites to ensure adequate coverage of functionality
• P rticipate in code reviews to ensure testability of code and identify areas for test automation
• D velop and maintain test documentation, including test plans and test cases
• S ay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software testing
• C mmunicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of software products

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must-Have Skills:
• S ould be good in testing process, defect management with 6+ years of experience.
• G od with Selenium/Cucumber/BDD framework exposure preferred.
• S ould have hands on experience with Kafka.
• E cellent in Java programming and Object oriented concepts.
• E perience in JIRA.
• E cellent in Junit, Maven and Jenkins integration.
• S ould have exposure to in-sprint automation
• S ould have excellent data automation skill and SQL.
Good-to-Have Skills:
• A I Automation experience is good to have. Karate framework experience is good to have.
• G od exposure to agile testing process.
• G od exposure to API testing,UI testing and database testing.
• S ould have excellent communication skill to interact with BA’s and LOB.
