Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop integrated automotive systems.
  • Define system architectures and functional requirements.
  • Specify component requirements and select technologies.
  • Manage the integration of sub-systems (powertrain, chassis, electronics, etc.).
  • Develop system models and perform simulations.
  • Conduct system testing and validation on prototypes and vehicles.
  • Perform root cause analysis of system-level issues and implement solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive standards and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams.
  • Liaise with suppliers for component development and integration.
  • Create technical documentation, reports, and test plans.
  • Stay current with emerging automotive technologies and trends.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in automotive systems engineering or a closely related role.
  • Proven experience in system design, integration, and testing of automotive components.
  • Proficiency in using automotive simulation and modeling tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, AMESim).
  • Strong understanding of automotive electronic architectures and communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN).
  • Knowledge of functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and project management abilities.
  • Experience with vehicle testing and data acquisition is a plus.
