**Principal Responsibilities**

HSBC GLCM serves as a core service provider for Commercial (CMB) and Global Banking (GBM) customers.

Client demand is increasingly focused on the provision of a broad range of integrated cash management solutions encompassing disbursements, collections and liquidity management, all delivered through a suite of interoperable delivery channels which can be seamlessly integrated to their own back office systems. This requires the provision of high quality and consistent implementation locally, regionally and globally so as to sustain our competitive edge against competition. The dynamic market conditions and increased sophistication of the diverse customer base means that solutions are tailored and precedents are limited. Client Integration, which is part of the Global Liquidity & Cash Management business, is considered as one of HSBC's major strength against the competition. A well-managed and coordinated implementation captures revenue at the earliest possible time, strengthens the customer relationship and earns long-term credibility for capturing ongoing business opportunities.

The jobholder is responsible for:

- Project manage, coordinate and deliver the technical integration and system aspects of Global Liquidity & Cash Management solutions for customers in a professional and effective manner
- Drive discussions with customer's IT teams on the API specifications and assist them in ensuring solutions are integrated smoothly with their systems by conducting robust Sandbox testing before moving on to end-to-end Live testing.
- Contribute to the development of the integration function in ASP Region with a view to establish Integration as the lead differentiator for HSBC
- Provide relevant feedback and support in the product development cycle through customer feedback and market trend analysis, as well as ensure that relevant Client Integration resources are made available for activities during product development, testing and commercial launch
- Enhance the team’s productivity and sustain high quality client-centric service culture
- Identify and drive various risk remediation initiatives to protect the GLCM franchise across the Asia Pacific Region
- Maintain HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy and maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring
- Provide recommendations on system enhancements that can prevent repeat production tickets.
- Work with Product/Workstream owners to ensure they are aware of key issues and trends in production environment
- Manage the global distribution lists and flash templates for use by Business Production Support
- Drive engagement with Fintech’s and IT solution providers for various initiatives of the Bank and across GLCM Business in India and the ASP region.
- Complete other responsibilities, as assigned

Requirements
- University graduate with significant working experience in banking
- Deep knowledge in all or any of the following - RESTful API, JSON, PHP, Java, C#
- Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) / Treasury Management System (TMS) and mobile app development would be an added advantage
- Job holder should be mature, able to work under pressure and able to self-motivate and motivate team members in a challenging environment
- Responsible for technical bank integration and project management, s/he must ensure that her/his skills are up-to-date with market trends
- Ability to formulate strategies with strong execution and drive process improvement
- Ability to operate on a cross-regional and cross-functional basis and work

Responsibilities
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues for some of the largest Internet retailers on Epsilon's the Digital Media Solutions system: design, develop, implement and test technical solutions based on client and business requirements

    Custom Intent Specialist

    Our Custom Intent team is part of our Sales and Marketing platform and allows for advertisers to target buyers that are actively researching their products and services. This role will help to encompass those search terms so advertisers can better reach their prospective customers and you will be a key part in the development and organization of intent topics. A strong grasp of the English language and a good understanding of marketing and/or saas terms will help you be successful in this role.

    This is a night shift position working PST hours (7:00pm - 4:00am IST) from our office in Chennai. We offer a night shift allowance, car service, and some in office food options.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Managing an ever growing list of standard and custom intent topics that are used to identify potential buyer behaviors for our customers.
  • Quality checks for topics are done on a regular basis to fine tune activity levels, keywords sets, etc.

  • The jobholder must demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with various colleagues across the Business, Finance, Data and IT, who may have their own conflicting local pressures 
  • The jobholder must possess the ability to prioritize effectively and manage stakeholder expectations successfully, within strict time limits
  • The jobholder must demonstrate the ability to provide innovative recommendations and/or solutions to the project team when faced with unplanned situations.
  • Requirements
  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in finance and technology transformation
  • Business analysis skills and end-to-end understanding of the technology delivery lifecycle, from requirements documentation to deployment and testing.
  • Strong understanding of business / finance concepts and terminology within a banking environment, including Client Profitability and its drivers
  • Experience in MI / dashboard delivery
  • Skilled in data analysis, research, validation and documentation
  • High level of competency in Microsoft Office applications, in particular MS Excel
