Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Azure Cloud Security specialist located in Chennai. The Azure Cloud Security specialist will be responsible for implementing and managing security measures for Azure cloud environments. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring cloud infrastructure, conducting security assessments, ensuring compliance with security policies, managing network security, and responding to security incidents. The role also involves collaborating with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices and providing support for ongoing security operations.

Qualifications

• Monitor and respond to threats using SIEM tools (Azure Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar)
• Implement and manage EDR solutions (Crowdstrike, Defender, SentinelOne)
• Conduct vulnerability assessments using Tenable, Qualys, Nessus
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows

Education and Required qualifications

• 2 to 4 years relevant experience in administrating azure IaaS, PaaS & SaaS services. Experience in installation, configuration and troubleshooting of infrastructure services like VMs, DBs, Storage accounts, Application Gateways, Load balancers, AKS, VNETs, WAF, and DevOps components.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Azure
• Experience in firewall rule configuration is an added advantage
• Hands on experience in Azure Cloud infra to manage the instances of the cloud infrastructure services and the multiple cloud servers
• Knowledge of Azure services used for Backup and Disaster Recovery
• Experience deploying and managing Azure tenants, subscriptions, resources, resource groups, NSG, etc.
