Responsibilities:
  • Design and architect end-to-end technology solutions for banking and financial services.

  • Title / Designation:  Investment Banking Manager – Technology Sector
  • Reporting Manager:  Partner 
  • Location:  Mumbai (Hybrid - Office once a week)
  • Role & responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end execution of M&A, private equity, and capital raising transactions, including financial modeling, valuation analyses, pitch books, information memoranda, and due diligence coordination with legal, tax, and technical advisors.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships across startups, scale-ups, and large technology enterprises, providing tailored strategic advice and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Support and contribute to business development efforts by originating mandates, preparing proposals and pitches, and leveraging market intelligence and industry networks.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with venture capitalists, private equity firms, and strategic investors; represent the firm at industry events and conferences to enhance visibility and deal flow.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, ensuring high-quality deliverables and promoting a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Stay current on trends across SaaS, AI, cloud, fintech, and other emerging tech verticals, offering insights on market dynamics, investor sentiment, and valuation benchmarks.
  • Candidate requirements:

  • MBA in Finance or Chartered Accountant (CA); CFA preferred.
  • 6–8 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, M&A, or transaction advisory, with exposure to the technology sector.
  • Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and deal execution under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability in business development, including deal origination and relationship-building with investors and clients.
