The NT Remote Locum Program (NTRLP) is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-led workforce program dedicated to strengthening healthcare services in remote communities across the Northern Territory.
We are seeking experienced Dental Therapists/ Oral Health Therapists to provide treatment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote NT communities. This locum-based role offers short-term placements where you will work on-site in remote clinics, delivering culturally safe, high-quality care in collaboration with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff.

What You’ll Need:
- Current Oral Health Scheduled Substance Treatment Protocol (SSTP) certificate in the past 2 years.
- Current NT Radiation License or application for NT Radiation License.
- Minimum of Two years full-time post-graduate of clinical relevant experience as a dental therapist.
- Minimum of 250 hours of relevant full-time clinical experience working as a dental therapist within the past 12 months.
- Current BLS / CPR Certificate.

You'll fit easily into our practice if you have:
- At least 2+ years experience
- Outstanding communication skills for patient education and rapport-building

- Exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of clinical practice
To be successful in the role you will need to hold registration with the New Zealand Dental Council (NZDA) as well as a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
