AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of **Senior Embedded Software Engineer - Board Support Package (Linux BSP)**
You will be part of AGCO's global Performance ECU and Networking team, responsible for managing all Linux-based ECUs across the organization. This includes specifying ECUs, evaluating suppliers, and overseeing product lifecycle management. As a Board Support Package (BSP) Software Developer, you will integrate and validate low-level software components - including the Board Support Package, Kernel, Bootloader, and Diagnostic Daemon - within embedded ECUs. You will play a key role in delivering robust, production-grade software that powers AGCO's next-generation agricultural machinery.
**Your Impact**
+ Maintain and upgrade the Board Support Package (BSP) for new and existing ECUs by updating components such as libraries, kernel, and drivers, and applying patches to resolve issues or vulnerabilities.
+ Ensure robust software build processes through continuous integration (CI) and automation, while implementing quality assurance mechanisms like static code analysis and security vulnerability scans.
+ Develop and execute integration and smoke tests to validate BSP updates and maintenance activities.
+ Integrate and adapt the bootloader, low-level drivers, and Linux kernel for new ECU platforms.
+ Collaborate effectively within a global agile team to deliver high-quality embedded software solutions.
**Your Experience and Qualifications**
+ At least 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in embedded systems software development.
+ Proficiency with POSIX-compliant operating systems such as Linux, QNX Neutrino, or GHS Integrity.
+ Experience with Linux build systems and tools like Buildroot and Yocto.
+ Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools and environments (e.g., Jenkins, Artifactory, Conan).
+ Foundational experience with bootloaders and their configuration (e.g., U-Boot, UEFI BIOS).
