We are seeking a Principal Engineer to join our Building Structures team in India. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineer to contribute to impactful marine infrastructure projects across global offices and continue developing their technical expertise in a supportive, high-performing team.

+ Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Works under only general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.
+ Experience in retail and hospitality medium to large projects.
+ Experience in UK, UAE, US, Canada, ANZ (preferred).
+ Experience in delivering projects in BIM and relevant discipline software.
+ Receives instructions on specific assignment objectives, complex features, and possible solutions.
+ Should be knowledgeable in building design services, associated regulations and technical standards.
+ Capable of working on as own initiative, as an overall responsibility and accountability for assigned work.
+ Maintains affiliation with professional societies to keep abreast of current technologies.
**Qualifications**
Here's what we're looking for:
+ Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
+ Applicants must have between 8-12 years of experience in Civil Engineering, Middle East/US/UK experience, which would be desirable but are not essential.
+ Good communication skills, and ability to work well independently at times.
+ Confident, with the ability to work either independently or as part of a team.
+ Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.

**Job Description**
We are seeking a Principal Engineer- PHE(Building Engineering) to join our B+P team in India. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineer to contribute to impactful B+P projects across global offices and continue developing their technical expertise in a supportive, high-performing team.
Here is what you will do:
+ Performs specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
+ Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
+ Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
+ Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignments.
+ Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision.
+ Independently performs all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works.
+ Performance at this level requires developmental experience in a professional position.
**Qualifications**
The successful candidate will have the following Qualifications:
+ Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
+ 10-14 years of relevant experience in GDC type of environment.
+ Experience in retail and hospitality medium to large projects.
+ Should be well versed with ASHRAE/CIBSE/NFPA standards and regulations.
+ Should have experience in commercial, residential, datacenter, and infrastructure projects from different geographies - Middle East, USA, Canada, ANZ Region.
+ Candidate should be well versed with International Fire Codes like NFPA and ME Codes
+ Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
+ Strong knowledge of energy modeling software (e.g., eQUEST, EnergyPlus, or IES-VE).

+ Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others
+ Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables
+ Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package
+ Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings
+ Prepares technical specification sections
+ Leads and mentors junior engineers and technicians in electrical design principles and best practices
+ Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with other engineering disciplines
+ Develops and implements innovative solutions to complex electrical engineering challenges
+ Ensures compliance with relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations
+ Conducts feasibility studies and risk assessments for new electrical design projects
+ Represents the company in technical forums and industry conferences related to electrical engineering
**Qualifications**
The successful candidate will have the following Qualifications:
+ B.Tech/ M.Tech(Electrical) discipline from an accredited college or university.
+ Proficiency/working knowledge in software applications like Amtech, Electrical OM, Dialux, AGi32, Revit, Navis, AutoCAD etc. is desirable.
+ 7-13 years of design experience in ME/UK projects in different sectors like mixed use developments, Buildings is preferred.
+ Awareness of BS and American standards along with region regulations is essential.
+ Experience in electrical system design, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems
