Digital Development is in charge of building the product vision, maturing Epics and sponsoring digital innovations, and also to plan, design and develop digital products, in partnership with the Digital organization. Mission:The main mission, if you accept it would be to:
- Perform analysis of business initiatives to identify impacts on portfolio product strategy
- Ensure consistency of capabilities between business processes, product segments (epics & capabilities), and study potential architecture scenarios
- Contribute to features definition for new digital capabilities and support transition to development phase,
- Drive rationalization of product portfolio
You would be working closely with the Product Manager & Solution / System architects & Business Owners to design the functional behavior of a system in the Customer Services Digital Solutions Development domain.
Responsibilities:In Detail and Specific Responsibilities:
- Contributing to the Digital Solutions Architecture vision,
Participating in Process & Method continuous improvements:
Process flow analysis and process redesign
- Analyze the System in Context
- Logically develop component breakdown structure
- Identify and promote re-use of existing components / COTS solutions
- Share best practices and be consultative to clients throughout duration of the project
- Produce a detailed functional design document to match customer requirements
- Providing functional and technical coaching to development teams
- Co-team with the Technical Architect to produce a technical specification for custom development and systems integration requirements
- Provide current best practice and 3rd Party solution alternatives as part of the functional design document
- Supporting the Digital Solutions Portfolio by defining technical solutions and associated costs fitting needs of internal & external customers.
- Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into solution designs
- Must demonstrate good judgment and pragmatic approach to delivering a solution that optimizes architecture activities across company needs, business constraints and technological realities
- Knowledge and application of architecture modelling methods and tools,
- Need to have strong IT background and experience in IT Architecture and Product Management,
- Application of Agile and DevOps,
- Knowledge of Airbus Customer Services environment & processes would be a plus,
- Strong interest in Airline Operations business,
- Knowledge in Cloud, Big data and Analytics would be a plus,
