**What we expect of you**
+ Master's degree and 5 to 7 years of Information Systems experience OR

Our client is seeking an innovative and analytical Process Improvement Engineer to join their remote team. This role is dedicated to analyzing, designing, and implementing improvements across manufacturing and production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall quality. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and data analysis. You will be responsible for identifying bottlenecks, optimizing workflows, and driving measurable results through systematic problem-solving. - Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams in process improvement projects, ensuring buy-in and successful implementation.
- Create and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of implemented improvements.
- Train production staff on new processes and best practices.
- Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and innovative approaches to process optimization.
- Conduct feasibility studies and pilot tests for proposed process changes.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration of improvements.
- Present findings and recommendations to management, clearly articulating the business case for proposed changes.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in process improvement, lean manufacturing, or Six Sigma roles.
- Certification in Lean or Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred).
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Minitab, Excel).
- Experience with process mapping, value stream mapping, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Proven ability to lead projects and influence stakeholders in a remote environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
- Familiarity with manufacturing operations and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setup.
