We are an interior designing firm based in Dombivli.

**Role Description**

This is a full-time role for a CAD Technician at Purnima Interior Inc located in Dombivli East. As an CAD Technician, you will be responsible for working in our production team and design exemplary client spaces. Your day-to-day tasks will include modelling and drafting 2D CAD drawings, rendering and visualising 3D interior spaces, and building novel interior concepts and solutions. This is an on-site role, and you will be based in Dombivli.

**Qualifications**
- AutoCAD 2D/3D or similar experience.
- SketchUp, V-Ray and Lumion experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated
- Experience in the interior design industry is a plus

Pay: ₹11,200.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

+ Input to the co-ordination of engineering services on projects
+ Develop drawings from given input from UK/GCC. Make drawings and details into coordinated building details by set manuals.
+ Complete design sketches for information in design documents for small / routine work
+ Produce work to specified WSP in UK CAD standards, suggest revisions to standards as appropriate
+ Use templates for CAD work and use CAD library items to assist design work
+ Provide advice and coaching to technicians on intermediate CAD functions when requested
+ Follow QA, document control, archiving guidelines on all work
+ Work with project team members on specified aspects of the project
Working with others, to assist in the following tasks:

Diploma Civil / BTech, experience of 2-4 Years in CAD Drafting
+ Minimum 2 years' experience in drafting/detailing in the AEC industry
+ Experience of working on a number of projects across different sectors
+ Experience of working on a number of sized projects, as the sole CAD support and as part of a wider CAD team
+ Good working knowledge of CAD, able to use all standard functions on the software and coach junior staff in its use
+ Good understanding of the role of consultant engineers and how to support this

+ Drafting, and 3D modelling of mine infrastructure for the mechanical discipline group which involves:
+ Design/drafting of equipment and plant layouts
+ 3D modeling of process piping
+ Piping layouts and isometrics
+ P&IDs and Process flow diagrams
+ Ensuring models and drawings are in accordance with applicable standards
+ Visiting client facilities at mine sites as required to validate designs
+ Assist with performing conceptual, feasibility and detailed mechanical design work including equipment, and plant layouts
+ Interacting with clients and being responsible for the quality of project deliverables
+ Coordinating with other disciplines and other WSP groups
+ Participating in WSP's Health & Safety program
+ Assisting with other project work as required
+ College Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Design or higher
+ Around 5 years of experience in a relevant field
+ Experience with mining operations would be an asset
+ Ability to complete field and office work as necessary, which may involve work outside of normal business hours
+ Primary drafting software in use is **AutoCAD and Plant3D** and some knowledge with that software is required however proficiency with these other software packages will be considered an asset:

+ Knowledge and experience of CAD tool 2D, 3D and Navisworks. Basic electrical principals
+ Strong English communication skills, both written and oral
+ Familiarity with electrical equipment and terminology
+ Familiar with electrical design documents like:
+ Area classification
+ Single line diagrams
+ Distribution panel layout
+ Cable and conduit schedule
+ Electrical schematics
+ Lighting design
+ Control panel c/w I/O schematics.
+ Junction box layouts
+ Process and building electrical and control layout.
+ Electrical Heat trace design
+ Electrical Bill of Materials
+ Familiarity with Australian Electrical Code would be an added advantage.
+ Must complete a high-quality self-check of own work with efficiency. Shall follow internal QC processes.
+ Perform review of engineering drawings, as per markups made by the Checkers. Verify to ensure drawings modifications are accurately and correctly conducted.
+ Reporting progress of work assignment to immediate supervisor. Understands the project schedule and budget requirements.
+ Communicate with internal peers and project team and required to answer questions regarding deliverables.
+ Capable of multi-tasking and managing multiple projects with the ability to accurately predict the time required to fulfil the individual scopes of work required.
+ Coordinating with Australian lead offices as per project requirement.
+ Be able to perform Material Take-Offs with CAD tool and excel.
+ Actively participate in the design and provide input to the design team throughout the design process.
+ Ensuring that quality procedures are implemented and maintained.
+ Provide regular work status updates, including risks or concerns, to Lead Designer.
+ Ensure that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policies.
+ Develop expertise and stay up to date of developments in Drafting skills.
+ Support the company's approach to sustainability.
+ Be able to communicate in a multi-disciplinary project team.
+ Be willing to learn and be polyvalent.
+ Identify improvements (where possible) to enhance WSP service to clients. Complete accurate timesheets by set deadline.

+ 4-8 years of experience in Electrical 2D/3D drafting and modeling.
+ Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical.

+ Experience with projects in Australia, New Zealand would be an advantage.

+ Carry out assigned Civil3D design and drafting (AutoCAD) work as part of an integral team adhering to technical and commercial standards
+ Be prepared to take a lead modelling/CAD role on select projects within a mine waste or multi-discipline environment

+ Minimum 2 years of experience using Navisworks Simulate / Manage for clash detection, model walkthroughs, and coordination with structural and MEP models.
+ Experience integrating Civil 3D models into federated BIM environments.
+ Bentley Platform Exposure
+ Minimum 2 years of experience in using MicroStation and/or OpenRoads Designer, preferably on transportation projects.
+ Understanding of differences between Autodesk and Bentley ecosystems for data/model handling.
+ Digital Delivery & Collaboration
+ Familiarity with ISO 19650-based workflows, model versioning, and structured data exchange.
