# Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Designer specializing in Bulk Material Handling Systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, selection, and engineering of bulk material handling equipment and systems for medium-to-large-scale industrial projects, including metallurgical plants, Bauxite, iron, copper, aluminum, petcoke/coal facilities, and mining operations.
# Major Responsibilities:
+ Lead the design and development of bulk material handling systems including belt conveyors, apron feeders, crushers, bucket elevators, rotary dryers, and pneumatic handling systems.
+ Prepare detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and 3D CAD models using tools such as Smart plant 3D, Microstation, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, and Tekla.
+ Conduct system design calculations, equipment sizing, and load/capacity analysis in compliance with IS and CEMA codes.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, procurement, and manufacturing to ensure alignment of engineering solutions with operational goals.
+ Review vendor specifications, technical bids, and manufacturing drawings to ensure design accuracy and compliance.
+ Support project execution from concept through commissioning, including documentation, bill of materials (BOM), and technical specifications.
+ Participate in value engineering and design optimization initiatives to improve cost-effectiveness and performance.
+ Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the mechanical design team.
+ Knowledge of industry and regulatory standards, design criteria and codes relevant to the discipline.
+ Knowledge of procedures used for the procurement and quantity control of bulk materials applicable to the discipline.
# Education and Experience Requirements:
+ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from accredited university.
+ Minimum 15 years' experience of working as designer in an engineering company in bulk material handling system design
# Required Knowledge and Skills:
+ Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, GD&T, DFM/DFA, and PLM.
+ Familiarity with industry standards and codes (IS, CEMA).
+ Good communication, problem-solving skills.
+ Experience with international projects and workshare execution models.
+ Exposure to equipment such as vibrating feeders, crushers, drive systems, automatic storage and retrieval system (ASRS), and unloading/bagging stations.

# Major Responsibilities:
+ Review of deliverables of Process Package.
+ Ensuring quality for the deliverables /work done.

+ Interaction with Global office / Home office (abroad), execute work on workshare mode.
+ Supporting the project through construction and commissioning phases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Manage and motivate a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels and accuracy, implementing cycle count programs and conducting regular audits.
