The Master - Quality Control Operator ensures agreed upon quality standards are met in final layouts for intermediate production assignments. This position executes digital and analogue techniques to confirm final product meets project standards and complies with technical specifications. This position ensures the Production team achieves published on-time delivery, ENCP, and/or INCP Production requirements
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Attends project or production meetings as necessary to understand specifications of the project.
- Establishes high quality standards for all production processes, workflows and client deliverables.
- Ensures accurate, consistent, and timely completion of high quality intermediate level artwork, effectively using industry standard software, tools, and prepress and print techniques.
- Performs assigned tasks within the overall production workflow and assigned budget, according to work order specifications, industry and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), company standards, and the client’s brand guidelines and standards.
- Ensures client project team has most current information about the status of the assigned project(s) by logging and maintaining in the project tracking system accurate records of the project plan, time dedicated toward a specific project and any quality issues.
- Meets quality standards for all assigned deliverables and makes recommendations to management for improvements in reports, tools, processes and assigned tasks.
- Supports Company’s profitability efforts by focusing on ensuring the appropriate quality standards of the completed production activities against the original client specifications.
- Additional duties as assigned.
**ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Arts related field
- Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) preferred
- 6+ years progressive creative design or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years in a leadership role
- Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
- Basic analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
- Basic verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients.
- Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to work with and influence peers and management.
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
- Possess a mechanical aptitude; ability to use a large variety of hand tools and basic knowledge of power tools, forklifts, welding equipment, and cutting torch.

1.On-Line Checks:
○ Perform continuous monitoring of the production line to ensure all products
meet predefined quality parameters.
○ Conduct real-time inspections of products during various stages of production
to identify any defects or deviations.
○ Discuss with production staff to immediately address and correct any
identified issues.
○ Maintain detailed logs of on-line checks, including data on any defects,
corrections made, and overall product quality.
○ Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with GMP standards,
focusing on cleanliness, hygiene, and safety within the production area.
○ Monitor employee adherence to GMP protocols, including proper use of
protective gear, hand hygiene, and contamination prevention practices.
○ Identify and report any non-conformities or potential risks observed during
GMP checks.
○ Participate in training sessions to reinforce GMP guidelines and ensure all
staff are up-to-date on best practices.
2. Finished Goods (FG) Inspections:
○ Carry out thorough inspections of finished goods to verify that they meet all
quality, safety, and customer specifications before shipment.
○ Sensory Analysis of Products.
○ Ensure that packaging and labeling are accurate and meet the company's
branding and regulatory requirements.
○ Maintain records of FG inspections, including batch numbers, inspection
dates, and outcomes, to facilitate traceability.
3. Raw Material (RM) Checks:
○ Inspect and evaluate incoming raw materials against quality standards and
purchase specifications before they are accepted for production.
○ Conduct sampling and testing of raw materials for quality, consistency, and
compliance with safety standards.
○ Document the quality of incoming materials, including any issues detected,
and work with suppliers to resolve discrepancies.
○ Oversee the proper storage of raw materials to prevent contamination or
degradation, ensuring that storage conditions meet the required standards.
4. Vehicle Inspections:
○ Inspect vehicles used for transporting raw materials and finished goods to
ensure they are clean, well-maintained, and suitable for the safe transport of
food products.
○ Check that vehicles comply with industry standards for temperature control,
sanitation, and safety during the loading and unloading process.
○ Document vehicle inspection findings, including any necessary maintenance
or cleaning, and coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely resolution
of issues.
○ Ensure that all vehicles used for transportation meet regulatory and companyspecific hygiene and safety standards.
