The Compliance & Certifications Manager will be responsible for leading regulatory compliance, certification processes, and industry standard adherence for BESS Lithion battery packs. This role requires deep knowledge of global battery standards, product safety certifications, and regulatory frameworks, along with the ability to interface with certification agencies, regulatory bodies, and internal teams to achieve timely approvals for product commercialization.
Core Deliverables
- Develop and manage a compliance roadmap for BESS Lithion battery packs across domestic and international markets.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards including BIS, UN38.3, IEC 62619, IEC 62620, UL 1973, UL 9540A, CE, RoHS, and other applicable norms.
- Drive product testing, documentation, and certification submissions with third-party labs and certification agencies.
- Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and other relevant management system standards.
- Establish and maintain compliance documentation repositories, including technical files, declarations, and certifications.
- Support design and development teams in ensuring regulatory compliance from product concept through launch.
- Monitor regulatory updates and changes in global standards, and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
- Liaise with government bodies, test labs, and certifying authorities for audits and approvals.
- Conduct internal compliance audits and train teams on compliance requirements.
