Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activating room key. Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit. Process all check-outs including resolving any late and disputed charges. Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns. Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in. Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors and dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed. Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest. Run daily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy. Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system. Cash guests' personal checks and traveler's checks. Count bank at the beginning and end of shift. Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.

Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Wat ga je doen?

Als CE chauffeur voor de bietencampagne maak je deel uit van een gezellig team en heb je de kans om waardevolle rijervaring op te doen. Daarnaast krijg je een aantrekkelijke beloning en kun je lekker veel kilometers maken.

Samen met je collega's speel je een cruciale rol in de jaarlijkse bietencampagne in Noord-Nederland.

Afhankelijk van je woonplaats vertrek je vanaf één van de toegewezen standplaatsen (Bant, Lemmer, Heerenveen, Drachten en Marum) op de kipper, soms met de walking floor. Je haalt bieten op via de plattelandswegen bij boeren, vervoert ze naar de suikerfabriek in Hoogkerk en lost ze met een paar drukken op de knop. Eenmaal leeg rijd je weer terug naar de volgende boer, veelal in de polder.

Je deelt de vrachtwagen samen met een vast ploegje collega’s en wisselt elkaar af met 12-uurs diensten, waarvan ongeveer 1 uur pauze. Afhankelijk van de laad- en lostijden ligt de begintijd overdag tussen 5:00 uur en 7:00 uur en de eindtijd tussen 17:00 uur en 19:00 uur.

Werk je liever parttime, dan wordt je als oproepkracht ingezet om de vrije dagen van de fulltime chauffeurs in te vullen. Wil je alleen nachten of weekenden rijden? Ook dat kan!

Wat wij bieden

Salaris tussen de € 16,00 en €19,46 (loonschaal D1 t/m D6) bruto per uur, afhankelijk van leeftijd en ervaring;

Goede toeslagen op dit salaris waarbij uren boven de 40u p.w. 130% worden vergoed. Alle uren op zaterdag 150% en zondag tegen 200%. Tussen 21.00 en 05.00 uur krijg je een vergoeding van 119%;

Reiskostenvergoeding á € 23 per kilometer (maximale vergoeding per dag is 1,50);

En niet te vergeten: veel kilometers op de snelweg, dus veel rijervaring opdoen en natuurlijk veel werkplezier!

Waar ga je aan het werk?

Post en Haveman is een gerenommeerd transportbedrijf in Noord Nederland. Ze zijn vooral bekend om hun betrokkenheid bij de bietencampagne. Er werken ongeveer 35 medewerkers. Het bedrijf staat bekend om hun persoonlijke benadering en hechte teamgeest. De sfeer is goed. Zo kamperen er tijdens de graancampagne (juli-augustus) zelfs chauffeurs in hun camper naast het kantoor in Dronten om ieder jaar weer de gezellige sfeer met elkaar te delen. Na een succesvolle campagne wordt er uiteraard ook samen feestgevierd.
