Requirements

The Position

Senior Business Analyst – Chemical and Process Industries Segment, Industrial Practice Group

The Expert will leverage his/her deep domain knowledge and external network to drive C-level/senior candidate recommendations and/or mid-level candidate development.

The Expert is expected to function autonomously as required. However, the Segment and Practice experts and consultants work collectively as a team for candidate idea generation, references and client assignment work. This role will be visible to clients and will be expected to help develop key account strategies.

This is an individual contributor role however there will be extensive collaboration with global colleagues on projects.

The Expert will work closely in collaboration with Experts and Consultant colleagues at US office as a fully integrated team member on senior-level, international projects.

Required knowledge/experience:

• Post Graduate from an accredited academic institution

• 5+ years of professional experience in Industry, Consulting or Research with deep knowledge of the Chemicals and Process Industry at large, its competitive landscape including the very latest
• A self-starter with learning agility, engaging remotely, thought partnering, critical thinking, eye for detail, conceptual thinking
• Experience of working on international engagements either in a professional services environment or in an in-house/captive research environment.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills and expertise with MS-Office (Word, PowerPoint & Excel)

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Lead and mentor a team of production supervisors and operators, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Collaborate with R&D, maintenance, and quality assurance departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for production efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Develop and conduct training programs for production staff on new processes and safety protocols.
• Manage production schedules, material flow, and inventory levels to meet demand.
• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of production equipment, coordinating with the maintenance team.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new production lines or modifications to existing ones.
• Ensure strict adherence to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in production engineering or a similar role within the manufacturing sector, preferably in chemical or process industries.
• Proven experience in process optimization, lean manufacturing principles, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in production planning software and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret production data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a challenging and demanding manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and best practices.
