Internal Audit
- Develop and execute a risk-based annual internal audit plan covering steel manufacturing, mining, power, and infrastructure operations.
- Lead audits across Finance, Business Operations, Sales, Procurement, Logistics, Projects, HR, Safety, Occupational health, and IT (SAP/ERP).
- Ensure effective evaluation of controls in high-risk areas such as blast furnace, SMS, coke oven, rolling mills, utilities, Raw Material, Consumables and FG inventories, and RM and FGlogistics.

Risk Management

- Develop mitigation plans in collaboration with business leaders and track implementation.

Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, SEBI, Companies Act, and global best practices.
- Monitor SOX/ICFR controls and IFC implementation across processes.
- Promote ethical culture, whistleblower mechanism, and anti-fraud frameworks.
- Support management in sustainability, safety, and ESG-related risk reviews.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of auditors, risk specialists, and forensic experts.

Qualifications & Experience
- Chartered Accountant (CA) / Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) / CISA or equivalent.
- 15-20years of experience, with at least 10 years in lead roles in Internal Audit & Risk Management.
- Strong exposure to steel, manufacturing, mining, or large-scale industrial projects.
- Hands-on experience in ERM frameworks (COSO, ISO31000, FMEA), SOX/ICFR compliance, and SAP/ERP audits.
- Proven track record of handling board-level reporting, governance, and cross-border audits.

Enterprise Risk Management provides independent risk oversight over State Street's business activities. What you will be responsible for
As an Enterprise Risk Management Audit, Assistant Vice President you will:
- Plan, oversee and execute audits according to the Division's risk-based audit methodology, other internal standards and industry practices.
- Supervise and direct the execution of risk and control assessments, along with the effective and efficient testing of key controls.
- Review audit workpapers to ensure execution in line with internal standards and that conclusions are properly supported.
- Draft audit reports that clearly communicate overall conclusion, including: key risks, identified issues and their root cause, and impact on overall business strategy.
- Work in partnership with business area management to communicate expectations and manage any project issues that may arise during the audit engagement.
- Escalate potential and identified issues to senior management timely and work with business management to develop and negotiate solutions.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of assigned areas of responsibility, including key technology, products, organizational activities, regulatory environment and global footprint.
- Establish and maintain strong and effective client relationships with business management across the lines of defense and assist management in understanding and implementing / maintaining internal control principles.
- Contribute to change initiatives through active participation in working groups and adoption of practices in day-to-day responsibilities.
- Coach and mentor audit staff as part of their ongoing development.
