Role Overview

The Chief Risk Officer (CRO) will be responsible for establishing and overseeing the Bank’s enterprise-wide risk management framework. This includes identifying, assessing, monitoring, and mitigating risks across credit, market, liquidity, operational, compliance, information security, and AML domains.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall risk management function across the Bank, ensuring effective implementation of risk frameworks.

  • Ensure effective implementation of Basel guidelines and Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate / Post Graduate in any discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 25 years experience in banking with at least 10 years progressive experience in risk management
  • Strong leadership and strategic decision-making skills.
  • Proven track record of working with regulatory authorities, auditors, and Board-level committees.

Desirable Professional Qualifications :

Certification in FRM /Professional Risk

Age: Not exceeding 60 years (as on the date of application).

Reporting and Communication:

 

·    Report regularly to the MD & CEO, Chairman, and senior leadership on the company’s risk profile, risk management activities, and mitigation progress.

·    Provide insight into risk trends, issues, and opportunities for improving risk management processes.

·    Lead risk review sessions with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on risk priorities.

 

Team Leadership and Development:
