ABOUT THE ROLE The Freight Information System (FIS) Core team builds the foundation of the next generate platform called FIS3. With our shared libraries and tools, we ensure that all developers across Hapag-Lloyd have a common base on which to build a unified FIS3. The tools and artifacts from our build and deployment environment support the work of several hundred developers every day. Our pipelines ensure efficient, secure, and fast development of our core IT system and enable our developers to detect possible errors faster. Working closely with the architecture team, we develop best practices and write sample code to help 1000+ developers understand how to best implement their business requirements in Java. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced CI/CD Engineer to join our growing IT Platforms team. The CI/CD Engineer will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines. You will be responsible for automating our build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring the rapid and reliable release of our software products. This role requires a strong understanding of DevOps principles, experience with various CI/CD tools, and a passion for automation. This role also includes direct contact with the development teams to provide support and troubleshooting, as well as assistance and consulting for complex development issues.
