Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Water Sector Specialist to support our Government & Public Sector Water Practice . The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise in water supply and wastewater management, combined with strong consultative sales capabilities . This role will focus on driving business development, solution positioning, and client engagement across public sector water boards, EPCs, and consultants.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or related field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead consultative sales efforts for digital water solutions, including SMART water management systems.
- Engage with government clients, consultants, and EPCs to understand requirements and position tailored solutions.
- Develop and manage sales pipelines, forecasts, and reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Respond to RFPs, prepare proposals, and deliver product demonstrations and presentations.
- Collaborate with technical and proposal teams to ensure solution alignment and value articulation.
- Drive territory sales planning and lead qualification.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 6–10 years of experience in water sector sales, hydraulic modeling, and project design.
- Proven track record in direct and channel sales, especially within the public sector.
- Strong knowledge of Bentley WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, and related hydraulic modeling tools.
- Experience in DPR preparation and client presentations for technical and administrative approvals.
- Familiarity with government water projects, including AMRUT, MSNA, and rural water supply schemes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools like Salesforce and HubSpot.
