**Job Summary**:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clerical Assistant to join our team. The Clerical Assistant will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to various departments within the college, including admissions, student services, academic departments, and other administrative offices. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide general administrative support to departmental staff, including filing, photocopying, scanning, and data entry.
- Assist with the maintenance of student records, including enrollment forms, transcripts, and other documentation.
- Manage departmental correspondence, including sorting and distributing incoming mail and preparing outgoing mail.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and events for departmental staff.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
- Answer phone calls and greet visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist with the coordination of student activities, events, and workshops.
- Update and maintain departmental databases and spreadsheets accurately.
- Provide support during peak periods, such as registration periods or admissions deadlines.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by departmental supervisors.
