We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Medical P hysicist to join us at the leading edge of radiotherapy within our India region who will be fluent in English, we will also look at other locations for the jobholder to be based in, such as New Delhi, or Mumbai, or Hyderabad. In general the role will still require extensive travel within India with frequent further afield travels in Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka.

We’ve got a fantastic opportunity to advance your career and put your expertise in radiotherapy to good use, primarily, we will need you to train and support customers on the safe and efficient use of Varian’s Treatment Planning Systems, CLINACs and Brachy units. You can expect the role to be quite varied from week to week and may extend job to Weekend and you will also enjoy a high degree of autonomy in your daily work.

The ideal person with previous clinical experience would be an advantage, but full (and on-going) training will be provided remotely and at our education centers, an absolute must for this position is the ability to speak & write Fluently in English.

Major Responsibilities

  • Train, counsel and support customers in adapting their work procedures and propose new approaches following the installation or implementation of new or upgraded VMS products.
  • Develop tailored training programmes for customers in the appropriate use of Varian Medical Systems hardware and software products.
  • Deliver high quality on-site / remote trainings to customers to instruct them on newly installed VMS products, upgrades to existing systems, or for other product developments.
  • Provide applications support for internal VMS product testing activities and involvement with ‘Customer Satisfaction Phase’ testing, where needed.
  • Provide occasional applications support for Education, Sales or Marketing, where needed. e.g. Clinical School support / customer demo support.
  • May also provide demo support to local, regional and national customer trade events.
  • Provide support for and participation with the internal training of other VMS colleagues, where needed.
  • Keep up to date with reporting and day-to-day admin aspects by means of time sheets, expense reports, training reports etc. (as applicable), to ensure accurate company statistical data on customer oriented activities is available and current.
  • Maintain competencies and VMS trainings in an on-going and timely manner. e.g. LMS certifications, internal or external training courses, or on-site hospital visits.
  • Attend Health & Safety training to gain and maintain a sound knowledge and systematically apply national laws and VMS regulations on health & safety in the workplace environment, particularly concerning travel safety, radiation and electrical safety
  • Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Medical Physics and 8 years of related experience or Masters Degree in Medical Physics with 6 years of related experience.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
  • Be willing to travel extensively, in India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka, normal and non- normal hours and days (as required) in order to best support
  • Excellent communication skills, teaching experience a plus.
  • 6 years professional clinical experience working in radiotherapy and experience in Oncology Management System(ARIA) and Treatment Planning System(Eclipse) and Radiation Therapy equipment, Such as Truebeam, Halcyon, Trilogy, Brachy Therapy
  • Competency with Python, MS Windows and Office applications.
  • Sound understanding of customers and their clinical requirements.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, along with a mature approach are all prerequisites.
  • An in depth knowledge of modern radiotherapy techniques and their underlying principles is also essential.
  • Good knowledge of processes and methods used in VMS product areas such as product specification, product developments / expansions and product security and safety.
  • Must be highly self-motivated and able to perform day-to-day work with little or no direct supervision, whilst still maintaining good integration to working with the wider team.

    We are looking for a Monitoring Consultant to join our Platform Managed Services (PMS) team. This role is part of the first technical support layer, responsible for ensuring the proper monitoring, escalation, and resolution of system alerts and client incidents. The position involves continuous interaction with monitoring tools, execution of scheduled and on-demand tasks, and collaboration with Infrastructure and SAP Basis teams.Responsibilities: Monitor client systems using tools such as Pandora FMS. Analyze alerts, create and manage corresponding Jira tickets.Follow standardized procedures for alert classification and escalation.Ensure timely escalation of critical alerts (e.g., system down) to senior levels or client service managers.Preventive & Corrective Maintenance Perform preventive checks and generate reports as per client contracts.Address issues related to system performance (memory, CPU, swap, filesystem, logs).Analyze job failures, system logs, technical dumps, and resolve or escalate accordingly.Shift Handover & Collaboration Ensure accurate and complete shift handovers, with all tickets updated and assigned.Maintain documentation integrity and collaborate closely with team members.Proactively communicate workloads and task status with the team leader.Operational Tasks (Basis & Infrastructure) Manage users, roles, and jobs in SAP environments.Perform backups, job monitoring, and transport management.Conduct basic installations and updates (kernel, Host Agent, SAPRouter).Apply SAP notes (without pre-requisites or manual steps). Execute quarterly health checks, vulnerability scans, and Windows updates.Reporting & DocumentationContribute to client reporting and ensure correct documentation of incidents and procedures.Update internal tools and knowledge bases (Moniblia, password managers, task trackers).ProfileExperience in IT operations is desirable.Familiarity with monitoring tools and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira).Basic understanding of system performance metrics (RAM, CPU, logs, dumps).Ability to follow and improve documented procedures.Strong communication and teamwork skills, especially in rotating shifts.Fluency in English (written and spoken).Availability to work in shifts, including weekends and non-business hours if needed.

    Perform root cause analysis and provide timely resolution/updates to incidents. Addressing to issue mail and tickets within SLA
    Work with development teams to resolve issues and validate fixes
    Maintain documentation on known issues

    Understanding of SLAs
