Job Title: Manager, Clinical Systems

Location : Bangalore

Responsibilities

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by streamlining processes and adding value across the business
  • Ensure high-quality work compliant with GCP, ICH guidelines, and all applicable regulations
  • Oversee administrative activities such as time-sheets, training (iLearn and sponsor-specific), and leave management for the team
  • Manage and support local and global Clinical Systems teams to meet project timelines and budgets
  • Liaise with project/study teams, ensuring timely communication and escalation of issues
  • Drive effective resource allocation and workload balancing with Team Leaders and Study Leads
  • Forecast resource needs and support recruitment efforts
  • Mentor and guide team members by providing technical and leadership support
  • Represent Clinical systems in audits, sponsor meetings, and cross-functional presentations
  • Identify gaps in processes and suggest improvements proactively
  • Conduct performance appraisals and define development plans for team members
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 13+ years of experience in Clinical Systems,Analytics 
  • Preferred hands-on experience with one or more Clinical Systems such as Rave, Central designer Veeva and Elluminate, exposure to data visualization, Python, and data analytics tools is also highly desirable.
  • Knowledge on SDTM and SAS would be an advantage.
  • Prior experience in managing or colloborating with cross functional teams ( Internal and Client facing) and ability to operate under matrix operations structure.
  • Desire for continous learining and driving innovative solutions.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (GCP, ICH, FDA, etc.)
  • Representation and contribution in Industy conferences and engagments is preferred.

    Product Manager – Clinical Systems

    Are you an experienced Project and Product Manager with a background in Clinical Systems space? Our Corporate IT team is hiring a Product Manager to support our Clinical Systems that are the backbone of our Clinical Trials teams.

    THIS IS A FULLY REMOTE OPPORTUNITY, but job seekers must currently reside in India.

    About You:

  • You have a strong background in Project Management and Change Management at the Systems level, and are able to work with business users to understand their needs and manage escalations.
  • You have experience working with Clinical and Healthcare data systems, and understand validation and privacy needs.
  • About The Role:

    The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and internal stakeholder requirements, defining the product roadmap, and working closely with Technology, Quality Compliance and Operations to ensure systems are maintained in a validated state.

    Reporting to the Business Relationship Manager, the Product Manager will work in close partnership with the vendor as well as the product configuration teams, operations, and technical teams to facilitate the oversight and management of COTS systems.

    Essential duties include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement product strategies consistent with company vision.
  • Work with project team on timelines for new technologies and releases/upgrades for existing applications
  • Review and determine applicability of releases/upgrades for existing applications.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders, and other teams to shape requirements, features and products.
  • Analyze potential partner relationships for the product and lead the effort to integrate current applications with other PFM systems/solutions.
  • Work with Product Support teams to create test plans.
  • Serve as point of contact for managed products and become the go-to person for all IT related issues.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Manage all lifecycle stages for a product from ideation through sunset, with responsibility for ensuring that deliverables are understood, and releases are delivered on time.
  • Reviews new capabilities/products by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development and potential for inclusion in IT Roadmap.
  • Interact with application vendor or development team to implement application enhancements or resolve bugs.
  • Measure and track cost of ownership for each platform
  • Could manage multiple products, depending on the size of the products.
  • Acts as single point of contact for internal customers for all platform related escalations.
  • Participates in client audits as the Subject matter expert for the platform(s).
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within CRO
  • Data-oriented, independent self-starter.
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Other Preferences:

  • Experience with the Deployment and Management of Commercial Off the Shelf products.
  • Experience with Application Lifecycle Deliverables.
  • Demonstrated experience with application change control.

    Key Responsibilities

    Support global process owners - and potentially business directly at times - in development of business/user requirements for new capabilities, enhancements, system upgrade for CASSA (Compound And Study Supply Analytics) and application-specific RPA&aposs. Serve as a clinical supply chain planning process expert translating business and user requirements into design changes of CASSA and RPA&aposs for IT partners. Support software engineers in seamless delivery of system solutions following best practices and aligning People, Process, Technology & Data. Engage with IT, Clinical Supply Chain and Business Insights & Technology (BI&T) colleagues in exploring cost-effective and sustainable technology solutions. Actively participate in various meetings with internal and external stakeholders in driving timely closure of projects and support activities. Manage portfolio of outstanding tickets (bug-fixes, enhancements), ensuring timely resolution as per the SLA guidelines, in partnership with B&IT. Support B&IT partners on unit and integration tests and assist with user acceptance testing. Provide system training on new capabilities to business leads.

    Qualifications And Experience

    1-3 years of experience in RPA technology as an analyst, consultant or end user. Intermediate to advanced understanding of analytics used in clinical supply chain forecasting & planning business processes. Experience with implementing or supporting deployments for custom-built tools. Bachelor&aposs Degree in engineering, supply chain, science field or related discipline is required. Agile and critical thinker with a passion for innovation and learning new skills. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; ability to strategically collaborate and influence in the defined area of scope. Ability to easily navigate and prioritize through multiple tasks and initiatives. Ability to balance strategic awareness & direction setting with consistent tactical results.
