Responsibilities :
Managed Service Delivery
Full fidelity responsibility and management for multiple service lines (Hybrid Cloud, Dev/Sec Ops, Compute, Storage, Network, Database, Datacenter, Data Compliance, Disaster Recovery, Mainframe)
Manages the delivery and implementation of a broad range of services through the full engagement lifecycle.
Consistently achieves or exceeds engagement revenue, margin, service level objectives and quality targets.
Meet and exceed SLA performance metrics
Vendor relations
Resource Management
Validates that the level of staff proposed, the source of staff, and their skill levels are in line with the contractual, financial, and solution requirements
Validates that all non-people resources required for service delivery are in line with contractual, financial and solution requirements and that Procurement has a plan in place to procure these resources
Produces a gap analysis related to resources and documents risks and contingency plans
Assures all people and non-people resources are in place for steady state operations.
Deal Review Consulting
Consults with bid management/account management and reviews project proposals, contracts and other documents to determine goals, time frames, funding limitations, and procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements and allotment of resources.
Participates deal review sessions to assure that all stakeholders in the project, including the client, have a common understanding of the terms and conditions (including commercial, solution, pricing/costing and resources) of the project
• Provides direction to a small team of Cloud engineers.
• Assigns, manages and performs project work, including scope, schedule, resource allocation and budget.
• Retains technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating projects.
• Engages with customers, end users and business partners to understand cloud service and related functionality / performance requirements.
• Establishes initiative / project objectives, schedules and timelines based on stated requirements and expectations.
• Establishes and consults on best practices and standard operating procedures for development, deployment, support, break-fix and systems management.

Position Responsibilities
Perform hotfix deployments, application maintenance and installations/upgrades for Deltek’s Cloud
Professional Service Products
Create, evaluate and maintain tools & automation that are used for processing software release.
Collaborate with Engineering and Product Release team in implementing software upgrades to our clients. Perform process improvements related to Deltek product release process.
Create and evaluate release delivery design to ensure quality and successful release with minimal client downtime.
Deliver server maintenance for Deltek’s Cloud Professional Service Products, configuration changes and security configurations.
Troubleshoot upgrade and release related issues.
Provision of L3/L4 support to troubleshoot complex problems, provide software fault diagnosis and resolve operational issues.
Ownership of vulnerability management and security audit requests.
Coordinate with a globally distributed team to continually drive our application delivery projects to success.
Show accountability in creating process improvement initiatives.
Take responsibility for management of internal team projects to completion.
Qualifications
Must-have skills/experience:
3 years’ experience in using various programming or scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python or similar well-known languages.
5 years’ experience in using MSSQL, Oracle, or similar database systems. Experience in creating both simple and complex database queries and creating SQL scripts.
3 years’ experience in supporting any of the following fields:
Enterprise customer-facing application, computing platforms, and systems; or Operation, Automation, DevOps, Delivery Engineer, Service Reliability Engineer, or similar field.
L3 and L4 application troubleshooting experience with the ability to identify and document the root cause of application issues.
Experience with public cloud providers such as AWS or OCI, and experience with cloud container services such as ECS, EKS, or AKS is a major plus.
Willing to work on permanent mid or night shift and amenable to changes on schedule depending on business needs.
Nice-to-have skills/ experience:
