98thPercentile offers online, after-school, enrichment, and acceleration programs in Math, English (Reading & Writing), Coding, and Public Speaking for Grades K to 12 students. 

Our enrichment programs are designed to enhance your child’s overall academic development. 

We are looking for a dedicated Coding teacher to join our 98thPercentile family. 

Roles and responsibilities:  

  • Engaging Instruction: The teacher should create a dynamic and interactive learning environment to actively engage the students. This can be done through a variety of methods, such as using visual aids, multimedia presentations, interactive coding exercises, and real-world examples. The teacher should encourage participation and foster discussions to keep students interested and motivated throughout the lessons.
  • Effective Communication: An excellent online coding teacher needs strong communication skills to explain complex coding concepts clearly and concisely. They should be able to adapt their teaching style to suit the individual learning needs of each student in the small group. Providing timely and constructive feedback is essential to help students understand their strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Problem-Solving Focus: The teacher should emphasize problem-solving skills and encourage students to think critically when approaching coding challenges. They can guide students through the process of breaking down complex problems into manageable parts, exploring different strategies, and developing logical solutions. By fostering a problem-solving mindset, the teacher can help students become independent coders capable of tackling new challenges.
  • Cultivating Critical Thinking: Apart from coding skills, the teacher should foster critical thinking abilities in students. Required qualifications:

Certification : CPC, CCS or equivalent (AAPC or AHIMA) – Required. CRC or CPMA is a plus.

● Experience : 18+ years in medical coding, including at least 5 years in a leadership role; strong exposure to surgery and multispecialty coding is preferred.

Knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management

● Client-Facing Skills : Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills; experience handling US-based clients is highly desirable.

Domain Expertise : Deep knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS and payer guidelines.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for engineers with distributed systems experience. You should have experience with the design of major features and launching them into production. The ideal candidate will own the software design and development for major components of Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure. You should be both a rock-solid coder and a distributed systems generalist, able to dive deep into any part of the stack and low-level systems, as well as design broad distributed system interactions. As a Senior Software Development Engineer within the OCI Observability Products Group, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development of a cutting-edge technology platform. This platform is designed to serve as a centralized hub for monitoring, revolutionizing the way OCI services are observed and managed. You will be a core contributor on a team of software engineers working to grow and scale our service.
We understand that software is living and needs investment. The challenge is making the right tradeoffs, communicating those decisions effectively, and crisp execution. We need engineers who can build services that can reliably protect our customer cloud environment. We need engineers who can figure out how we can keep up our solution in a fast pace to securely protect our customers. Required Qualifications
5+ years distributed service engineering experience in a software development environment.
Experience driving feature design reviews, documentation, and working with Product Managers through the entire launch process
Strong development experience in Java, C++, C#, or similar OO languages
Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals
Good understanding of databases, NoSQL systems, storage and distributed persistence technologies
Experience building multi-tenant, virtualized infrastructure a strong plus

Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience developing services on a public cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Oracle)
Experience with Kubernetes, both at admin & application development, will make you stand apart
Building continuous integration/deployment pipelines with robust testing and deployment schedules
Expertise in applying threat modeling or other risk identification techniques to develop security solutions
Experience and understanding of Cryptograph, DDoS, CVE, CIS, SAST, DAST, or similar security and compliance knowledge
