About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate Team Leader to manage a Community Access Service in St Ives. You’ll lead a team of dedicated direct support professionals, ensuring high quality person-centered support. Our Community Access Services empower individuals to live independently and actively participate in their communities by supporting them to pursue goals and lifestyles that reflect their aspirations.
Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing the day-to-day operations on the site.
Ensuring the site is safe, welcoming, and compliant.
Leading the development and review of person-centered support plan
Ensuring documentation is accurate and aligned with policy and system requirements.
Supporting clients during NDIS planning and review meetings
Participating in behaviour support planning and restrictive practices where required
Coaching and mentoring staff to enhance performance and engagement.
Coordinating rosters, leave and recruitment with HR and Scheduling teams.
Who We’re Looking For
2-3 years leadership experience in the disability sector
Energetic, compassionate, and emotionally resilient
Excellent organisational, communication and coaching skills
Hold a valid NSW Driver’s Licence (P2/full) and are confident driving Unisson vehicles.
Qualified with Cert III/IV in Disability (desirable)

**Program Management**:
- Closely work with the waste-collectors community and scarp shops for their overall social and economic development.
- Will be responsible for a variety of cross-functional roles within foundation projects, work closely with the Manager-Programs and other team members of the Plastics For Change.
- Work towards effective PFC India foundation(non-profit) program delivery management and the coordinators core duties will be to assist and support day-to-day community interventions activities w.r.t social and financial inclusion, health, nutrition and education programs, supplies distribution, stakeholder development and management, networking and follow-up activities.
- Manage and groom a team of project field workers, assigning KPI’s and monitoring them.
- Implement, manage, improve, build capacity and monitor fair trade/ethical sourcing practices, labour laws, ESG policies and HR compliance standards at the supply partners and scrap shops.
- Coordinate with local authorities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure benefits are implemented.

- Monitor, develop and sustain supply partners and scrap shops through PFC rating and incentive systems.

**Reporting and Documentation**
**General Responsibilities**
- Ensure professionalism at all times and demonstrate exemplary prioritisation of workload skills.
- Ensure that the PFC policies, SOPs and protocols are being adhered to at all levels of the company.
- Ensure strict adherence to data confidentiality and security.
- Willingness to travel frequently across India, sometimes at short notice, including other places as per need of project or company.
