As the OWA Asia-Pacific Membership Lead, you are responsible for supporting OWA member groups in the Asia-Pacific region, which includes Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Role Overview
The Head of Pet Care Food Plant is responsible for overseeing all operations within the pet care food manufacturing facility. This role involves ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, managing staff, and adhering to regulatory compliance. Roles & Responsibilities
Operational Management: Oversee daily plant operations with a focus on productivity, safety, and efficiency.
Production Planning: Lead the overall production planning process ensuring alignment with marketing and sales requirements.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet internal quality benchmarks and regulatory standards by maintaining strict control of process parameters.
Cost Control: Drive initiatives to manage and control production costs, material yields, and utility consumption.

This opening is for a Veterinary Assistant whose main responsibility would be to handle functioning of the OT and medical treatment of inpatients. This position is crucial as we perform more than 200 surgeries each month and hence an excellent opportunity to build your career in a high-impact clinical setting.
Responsibilities
- Preparing examination rooms, surgical instruments, and supplies.
- Assisting veterinarians during exams and procedures by holding animals and handing tools.
- Preparing animals for surgeries: placing a cannula, hair clipping, etc.
- Monitoring animals before, during, and after surgery or medical treatment.
- Administering medications and post-operative care under the supervision of a veterinarian.
- Maintaining accurate records of patient histories and treatments.
- Coordinating with vets, scheduling appointments and managing the clinic's calendar.
- Maintaining medicine stock records.
- Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in workspace.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of experience in assisting surgeries and administering medications as per veterinarian&aposs prescription.
- Candidate must be residing in Mumbai.

Ability to diagnose the disease, injury, and decide whether the animal requires medical or surgical treatment.
General promotion for public health
Working Experience in dogs, cats.
Experience of training the interns.
Ability to handle critical and terminal illness.
Experience of handling impatient animals.
Ability to carry out diagnostic tests like X-Ray, ultrasound and taking blood samples.
Calm and patient with mild and gentle touch to the animals.
Should have experience with multiple surgeries
