This position is part of the South Asia Business Development organization and is responsible for managing all aspects of Mastercard's relationship with assigned customers to maximize segment penetration and drive revenue growth for both Mastercard and its partners.
The role will also work closely with the Head of Account Management, South Asia, on key strategic initiatives such as driving sales effectiveness, enhancing business intelligence, refining business development strategy, and ensuring close coordination with Product and other enabling functions to optimize market share and yield.
The incumbent will partner with customer and Mastercard cross-functional teams to design and implement impactful payment programs that deepen engagement, expand portfolio performance, and unlock new opportunities across segments.
The ideal candidate is a commercially pragmatic, self-motivated business developer with strong relationship management, analytical, and influencing skills.
This role will maintain primary responsibility for managing relationships and profitability across target customers, driving account management and business development activities end-to-end. It includes designing and executing strategic and tactical plans to enhance mutual profitability, developing strong working relationships with key decision-makers at customer banks and internal Mastercard teams, and identifying new segment and product opportunities through data and insights.
A key part of the role will involve building business intelligence capabilities to drive better outcomes-analyzing deal performance, campaign efficiency, and prioritizing high-return investments in collaboration with Sales and Product teams.
The role will also contribute to shaping client roadmaps, applying commercial judgment and margin understanding to advance Mastercard's strategic objectives.
In addition, the individual will conduct market research and opportunity assessments for new products and concepts, recommend market strategies including pricing and go-to-market plans, and engage with internal functions such as Operations, Technology, and Delivery to ensure seamless execution.
The role will also support signing up new customers within the assigned geography.
We are looking for someone with proven experience in business development within the payments or BFSI domain, and a background in business intelligence or strategy development.
Experience within a payment network would be an advantage. The role calls for a self-driven, organized, and proactive professional who brings an entrepreneurial mindset, strong commercial acumen, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.

To identify, qualify and close the sale of Citation and Turboprop aircraft through direct sales in an assigned territory.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**
Sell new Citation and Turboprop aircraft for Textron Aviation.Maintain current information and contact with business aircraft operators and other major businesses and individuals within assigned region to identify potential Citation and Turboprop clients.Thoroughly qualify prospective client opportunities regarding their financial capability, corporate and personal travel requirements and the capability of a new aircraft to address the prospective client needs and expectations.Develop and implement account strategies designed to inform the prospective client of Textron Aviation's ability to address their needs and expectations, to advance the account decision making process in a timely fashion, and to minimize potential competitive activity by utilizing Company provided formal Account Management (SalesForce.com) methodology.Maintain thorough records on each client and prospective client, to include key decision makers, fleet history and utilization, business history, business activity and events that have, or will, influence new aircraft purchase decisions. A detailed history of contacts and records should include copies of general correspondence and other information supplied to the prospect maintained in SalesForce.com.Maintains current knowledge and understanding of all elements critical to the sales process, including comprehensive familiarity with and technical aspects of the aircraft.
