    What You'll Be Doing:

  • Support the day-to-day management and operations of DigitalOcean's compensation programs globally, including base pay, annual bonus plans, sales incentive plans, and equity programs.
  • Manage and maintain compensation systems, surveys, tools and vendor relationships (MarketPay, Radford, Mercer, etc.).
  • Participate in various compensation-related analyses.
  • Review job descriptions against external benchmark data to ensure salary recommendations align with market pricing and internal equity.

    The Compensation Analyst works closely with business leaders and the Sales Compensation Lead and Manager, Variable Sales Compensation to administer sales variable compensation calculations, modeling ROI analysis, strategic partnership management, reporting deliverables including preparing management reports, presentations, and documenting business process.

    KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    The primary responsibility of this position is to support the regional sales leaders, Chief Data and Analytics officer and the Director of Sales Compensation in the administration of global sales variable compensation and partnership calculations including commissions, sales bonuses, and incentives.
     

  • Run monthly sales commission processes for various roles across the different geo’s we operate in.
  • Maintain compensation structures on the required systems based on Commission Plans
  • Build and model pay for performance sales commission and incentive plans for various roles from inside sales team to senior sales management team which deliver enhanced business performance.
  • Calculate monthly/quarterly/annual incentives for sales leadership roles.
  • Administer and track individual performance under sales incentive programs.
  • Measure sales performance against an established set of KPIs.

  • Analyze, reconcile, and audit commission and incentive calculations to ensure adherence to approved plans.

    Required skills and qualifications

    About The Role

    • We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Compensation Analyst to join our global team. In this role, you will be responsible for administering and managing global sales compensation plans for Rubrik's salesforce.     What You'll Do

    Sales Compensation Administration:

    • Manage and maintain sales incentive compensation processes.

    Process Improvement and Collaboration:

Responsible for day-to-day design, administration and management of global compensation programs and systems.     • Participates in compensation surveys and compiles data, salary survey results and other available competitor information sources to perform the job valuation/market pricing process and prepares matches for review.
    • Advises and communicates to most levels of management and Team Members on established policies and procedures, fixed/ variable compensation programs, and compensation systems. Provides detailed answers to complex questions and requests for information.
    • Reviews submitted job descriptions for quality and availability of comparable roles in the marketplace. Maintains job description database for modifications, additions and deletions as submitted by HR/Management. Makes cursory determination or recommendation based on established criteria to requests for further development of additional job titles/descriptions.
    • Reviews existing and proposed statutory requirements governing the company&aposs compensation administration and reports potential impact of statutory changes to management; administers processes to ensure compliance.
    • Provides standardized and assists in the development of ad-hoc compensation reports, forecasts, and analyses from Human Resources Information Systems and business applications to assist management with decision making.
    • Assists the Head of Compensation and Benefits with established Executive Compensation projects and programs.
