Job Description
As Concept Artist, you will collaborate directly with Scanline's Creative Director, VFX Supervisors, and Art Directors to visualize key design elements that will lay the foundation for our VFX work. You should be highly motivated, comfortable collaborating across multiple projects at the same time, and confident in their ability to create imaginative designs that inspire our clients and inform our teams. Interpréter des mémoires créatifs et produire des illustrations qui tiennent compte du contexte, des délais et des limites techniques. Développez et affinez l’œuvre d’art de l’esquisse initiale au polissage final, en veillant à ce qu’elle soit bien présentée et définie. Offrez diverses alternatives créatives et itérer sur eux tout au long de la progression du projet et d’établir le style attendu pour les concepts. Capacité à communiquer des idées via un mood board et des story boards pour les références. Recueillir et cataloguer des références, effectuer des analyses concurrentielles et élaborer des stratégies de recherche sous la direction du directeur artistique. Possibilité de travailler sur une variété de styles artistiques et de s’adapter à différents genres de jeux (conceptions de personnages réalistes, stylisées et toony) Doit avoir plus de 4 ans d’expérience dans la création d’illustrations conceptuelles de personnages pour les jeux et le portefeuille relatif. Forte compréhension de l’esthétique de l’art (compréhension de la couleur, de la lumière, de la composition, de l’anatomie, de la perspective, de la profondeur, des compétences de rendu). Compréhension du pipeline / flux de production d’art de jeu 2D / 3D. Expérience de travail dans un environnement d’équipe Agile. Compréhension des tendances actuelles et passées dans l’industrie du jeu. Solides compétences en communication, en autogestion et en organisation. Compétences efficaces en gestion du temps pour respecter les échéances et les jalons.

Le travail des artistes de personnages 2D est de dessiner un personnage sur un plan plat. Vous devez dessiner des figures sous différents angles et les images clés de l’animation 2D.
Ce rôle nécessite des compétences de dessin sérieuses C’est l’art qui dépeint les personnages du jeu, que ce soit pour des personnages jouables ou des personnages non jouables. Ce type d’art conceptuel est utilisé pour aider à concevoir à quoi ressemblera un personnage, quel type de personnalité il pourrait avoir et comment il pourrait se déplacer et se comporter dans le monde du jeu.
En tant qu’artiste conceptuel, vous devez posséder des connaissances solides sur les logiciels graphiques 2D (comme Adobe Photoshop)
Votre principale responsabilité en tant qu’artiste conceptuel 2D pour le personnage est de créer des croquis, des peintures et des images 2D + 3D pour aider à répondre aux besoins de gameplay pour différents départements du studio.
