Our client is seeking a highly creative and exceptionally organized Senior Event Planning Manager to lead the conceptualization and execution of global conferences and high-profile events. This role is fully remote, offering the flexibility to manage world-class events from anywhere. The Senior Event Planning Manager will be responsible for the entire event lifecycle, from initial strategy and budgeting to on-site execution and post-event analysis. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and partners to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of memorable experiences. Key responsibilities include developing event themes and concepts, managing budgets, negotiating contracts with venues and suppliers, overseeing logistics, and coordinating speaker engagement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully planning and executing large-scale international events, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating engaging attendee experiences. Strong project management, communication, and negotiation skills are essential. This position requires a proactive, resourceful individual who can thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and effectively manage multiple complex projects simultaneously using advanced virtual collaboration tools. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive event strategies for global conferences and executive events.
  • Manage all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, vendor management, and logistics coordination.
  • Develop and meticulously manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI.
  • Negotiate contracts with venues, suppliers, caterers, and other service providers.
  • Oversee speaker recruitment, engagement, and content management.
  • Develop creative event themes, concepts, and attendee engagement strategies.
  • Manage event registration, ticketing, and attendee communication.
  • Coordinate on-site event operations, including setup, staffing, and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct post-event analysis, gather feedback, and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in event management.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to ensure brand consistency.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including sponsors and partners.
  • Ensure all events comply with relevant health, safety, and legal regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in event planning and management, with a focus on large-scale conferences and corporate events.
  • Proven experience in planning and executing international or global events.
  • Exceptional project management skills with a strong ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently.
  • Demonstrated budget management skills, with a track record of delivering events within financial parameters.
