The Role

You will also hire, guide, and manage freelance subject matter expert (SME) reviewers to maintain the highest standards of quality and academic rigor.
Responsibilities
- Review animated educational concept videos for academic accuracy, conceptual clarity, animation–script alignment, and pedagogical value.
- Understand and comment meaningfully on a variety of 2D visual representations, such as animated characters, abstract icons, graphs, and metaphoric visuals.
- Ensure all videos meet JoVE’s standards for scientific/academic quality, accessibility, and instructional coherence.
- Collaborate with both the content and production teams to resolve feedback and maintain quality through iterations.
