The Vistex Professional Development Trainer will work in our Hyderabad, India Office and is responsible for developing, conducting, and assessing training on a variety of professional topics, such as leadership, effective communication, change management, and customer relations.
Primary responsibilities include needs assessment, developing, implementing, and facilitating in-person and virtual training, and program evaluation to support company initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate (in-person and virtual) various professional development trainings, workshops, and programs to support team members at our Hyderabad, India Office and all other Vistex team members globally.
  • Work closely with professional development leadership to develop (presentation, participant guides, and supplemental material) professional development trainings, workshops, and programs to support team members at our Hyderabad, India Office and all other Vistex team members globally.
  • Work closely with professional development leadership and Vistex India leadership to identify professional development opportunities.
  • Develop and implement needs assessments for Vistex India team members, including leadership. Work with professional development leadership and Vistex India leadership to develop and implement professional development initiatives based on needs assessments.
  • Develop methods and tools for collecting data and evaluate the effectiveness of professional development training and activities including preparing reports and recommendations related to improvements.
  • Maintain consistent communication with professional development leadership.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Vistex India team members and leadership.
  • Utilize a broad range of traditional and other approaches such as formal group and individual training, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Coordinate, organize, and promote team member engagement opportunities and activities.
  • Handle related duties as assigned.

  • What You Bring

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or Package Engineering Roles related to rotating equipment packages.
  • You have a good technical understanding of rotating equipment trains with focus on system/package as well as instrumentation/control
  • Proven command of industry standards and codes used for design and specification of equipment packages - notably API (614, 692 & 617), ASME, ASTM, TEMA, IEC and / B piping design.
  • Expert in Compressor Package Engineering which includes Baseplate, Steel Structures, Coupling Guards, process coolers, AVMs, Anti Surge Systems and Knowledge of auxiliary systems (heat exchanger, lube oil unit, gas seal panel etc).
  • Peer-recognized for solving complex problems, developing new Standards, and demonstrating high professional judgement in ambiguous circumstances
  • Experience with Engineering/PLM software Teamcenter, SAP, NX, E3, COMOS, and/or Jira (will be an added advantage).

     Developing new user-facing features for our clients using Vue.js

     Translating functional requirements (User Stories/Tasks) and wireframes into high quality code with tests

     Working with architects, developers, and QA engineers to ensure that your work is testable, meets industry security standards and is written to deliver good performance/scalability.

     Perform application and solution development to meet project requirements.

     Develop and document detailed technical designs to meet business requirements.

     Manage multiple technical environments and support the development and testing processes.

     Identify areas of customization and optimization and provide solutions that meet the business requirements.

    Skills & Personal Qualities – Required:

    • Experience working with the IBM Maximo software product within the following capacities:
    • B.Tech. in Computer Science, Engineering or Business-related field and/or equivalent work experience.
    • Thorough understanding of Vue.js and its core principles
    • Minimum four (4) years of work experience in Vue application development.
    • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
    • Demonstrable expertise in software development in an Agile setting
    • Ability to deliver well-tested code consistently in an Agile, CI/CD environment
    • Experience with JavaScript Testing frameworks and principles (Jest preferable)
    • Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript
