This role is responsible for new product development from concept to commercialization by overseeing details from creation of functional specifications through detailed design and field testing. Under minimal supervision, develop the next generation surface and downhole equipment control solutions
**Responsibilities:**
+ Prepare detailed design proposals and engineering cost estimates for the development of existing products and technologies.
+ Preparation of calculations and design packages for performance of design review.
+ By application of mathematical and engineering equations, conduct design analysis, providing documented evidence to confirm the safe performance envelope stated for any given Product.
+ Attend design reviews or sales meetings for new and existing products if required.
+ Implement modifications, diagnose, and fix issues in control systems to meet internal or external customer needs.

+ Represent the business locally and internationally. Liaise with clients and vendors in the specification of potential New Product developments.
**Skills:**
+ Minimum 3-7+ years related experience
+ Must have a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in one of the following disciplines: Electrical Engineer, Control System Engineer, Mechatronics Engineer
+ Must have design and programming experience designing PLC control systems for the Hazards areas of on and offshore rigs
+ Experience with PLC module selection based on system requirements and needs
+ Working knowledge of Siemens SIMATIC S7-300 and S7-1500 family of modules
+ Experience with Siemens TIA Portal
+ Experience writing code in Ladder, SCL, FBD, and Graph

**Role Purpose**

**Key Responsibilities**
+ Supports and/or leads sub-teams on new equipment installation, process certification, documentation and training.

+ Have spent significant time on manufacturing floor, understanding machines & production equipments; have solved electrical/ Controls related challenges with other team members
+ Have worked and used skills to solve problems on production lines having reputed PLC and Servo Drives Softwares and was able to make code changes, updates and understanding of PLC language & codes.
+ B.E. in Electrical/Electronics/E&TC/Instrumentation/Controls Engineering.
+ Strong oral and written communication skills

**Key responsibilities**
The Subsea Controls Engineer is a member of the Subsea, Civil, and Marine Engineering team in the Chevron ENGINE Centre and provides technical services and technology development support for subsea production facilities to both base business and capital projects. This role is responsible for design and project execution of subsea control systems for oil and gas facilities inclusive of the evaluation, selection, design, operation, and maintenance of subsea control system hardware, software and ancillary equipment.
- Support projects in the design and value improvement process by evaluating subsea control system configurations, identifying ratings/characteristics of equipment, developing system design philosophy and other critical deliverables.
- Develop contract scopes of work for subsea control system studies and/or equipment technology qualification activities for execution by third party consultants/contractor, provide technical guidance, review deliverables, and provide contract management.
- Lead the selection and design of the overall subsea control system architecture & equipment inclusive of establishing functional requirements (both topsides and subsea) that meet the operating company requirements.
- Develop detailed functional specifications and bid packages, selection of subsea controls systems equipment, developing overall system layouts and detailed equipment drawings, and development of installation and commissioning procedures.
- Review, perform, and or direct subsea control system electrical and hydraulic transient modelling / analysis.
- Assist in factory tests and pre-commissioning of subsea controls equipment
- Provide oversight for critical interfaces with subsea, topsides, and drilling and completions and support associated installation, commissioning, startup, and intervention activities.

**Job Overview**
Successful Project Controllers display strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and written/oral communication skills. They should be detail-oriented team members who can consistently meet deadlines and possess the ability to work independently as needed. Computer, interpersonal and customer service skills are necessary. Project Controllers must be able to multi-task and demonstrate the ability to work with a diverse work group of stake holders.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Work in Program Management as a Project Control Engineer.
* Develop & update Schedules in Primavera P6 as per procedure. Solve P6 related issues, identify critical paths, discuss with PMs and finalize schedules etc.
* Cost Management (Setting up CBS, setting up cost tracking sheet, analyzing Cost Variance, CPI, performance analysis, spreadsheet updates, etc.)
* Invoice review of Contractors as and when needed.
* Change management (review of change requests for compliance with established program standards and processes, coding of change records, etc.)
* Document management including Procedure creation and any such documents required in the projects.
* Workflow development in MS Visio or any other software (This includes understanding the project workflow, discussion, finalization and submission)
* Dashboard development (using Power BI) with schedule & cost data integration or as per the requirement.
* Work on Risk Management tool (Risk Register, RBS, Simulation tools etc)
