Our client, a premier corporate catering services provider, is seeking an exceptionally talented and experienced Senior Executive Chef to lead their culinary operations. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to direct and innovate from your own professional kitchen space. You will be responsible for menu development, food quality, kitchen staff management, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for corporate clients. This role demands creativity, impeccable culinary skills, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of food safety and cost management within a high-volume catering environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop creative, diverse, and appealing menus for various corporate events, meetings, and daily catering services, considering dietary restrictions and client preferences.
  • Oversee all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure the highest quality standards.
  • Manage and mentor the kitchen team, including sous chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations (HACCP, FSSAI standards).
  • Control food costs through effective inventory management, ordering, and waste reduction strategies.
  • Collaborate with the sales and event planning teams to understand client needs and ensure flawless execution of catering services.
  • Source high-quality ingredients from reputable suppliers, negotiating prices and managing vendor relationships.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for kitchen operations.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for kitchen staff on culinary techniques, hygiene, and safety.
  • Manage kitchen equipment maintenance and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate innovative ideas into menu offerings.
  • Maintain detailed records of food costs, inventory, and staff performance.

Qualifications:
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification from a recognized institution.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Sous Chef, with a significant portion in high-volume catering or hospitality.
  • Proven expertise in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation for diverse cuisines.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and cost control measures.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Creative flair and a passion for culinary excellence.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and standard office applications.
  • Experience in managing remote kitchen teams or operations oversight from a distance is advantageous.
