Role Summary:

Corporate Security Manager oversees security operations, ensuring the protection of personnel, assets, and infrastructure. This role manages threat intelligence, incident investigations, access control and regulatory compliance, while developing security policies and risk mitigation strategies. The incumbent coordinates with law enforcement, manages security personnel and integrates cybersecurity with physical security to safeguard the organization.

Responsibilities:

Oversee corporate security operations, ensuring compliance with state and local laws also coordinate with law enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies, and intelligence partners to mitigate security risks.
Manage the threat intelligence review process, analyzing cybersecurity threats, unauthorized access attempts and network vulnerabilities. Develop and implement intrusion detection mechanisms to strengthen security posture.
Conduct security incident investigations, including theft, burglary, intrusion and policy violations. Analyze system logs, review network access controls (, firewalls, intrusion detection systems) and collaborate with Human Resources and law enforcement agencies for resolution.
Hire, train and oversee security personnel, including contract guard services. Implement training programs covering access control protocols, surveillance systems, cybersecurity policies and emergency response procedures.
Oversee IT security architecture, including firewalls, VPNs and endpoint protection systems, ensuring seamless integration with physical security measures such as biometric access control, CCTV surveillance and intrusion detection systems.
Direct security strategy for corporate events, critical infrastructure and office expansions, ensuring compliance with industry standards (, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR). Optimize disaster recovery strategies and business continuity planning.
Conduct security audits and risk assessments, leveraging data analytics tools and SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) solutions to detect anomalies. Identify and mitigate single points of failure in security operations.
Manage security clearances for employees, contractors and visitors, enforcing multi-factor authentication (MFA), role-based access control (RBAC), and secure credentialing procedures.
Develop and implement corporate security policies, cyber hygiene protocols, and incident response frameworks. Maintain detailed security reports, intrusion logs and compliance documentation to ensure regulatory alignment.
Conduct security awareness training, penetration testing exercises and security drills to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices, phishing attack mitigation and physical security response protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day physical security operations and assist in the implementation and enforcement of Security and Emergency Response Team policies and procedures across the facility.
• Collaborate with Best Buys U.S. based Enterprise Crisis Management and Business Continuity teams to support the development and implementation of crisis management and business continuity protocols, including emergency response plans and procedures.
• Support front desk security operations and ensure proper identification and authorization procedures are followed.
• Support maintenance, implementation, and monitoring of security systems including Access Control, CCTV, and Visitor Management.
• Assist with coordinating security logistics and risk assessments for international travel.
• Provide support and guidance to 3rd party security teams with overnight, weekend and holiday coverage.
• Serve as the primary point of contact and hub liaison, providing essential support during incident activation and response. This includes facilitating planning, coordination, and effective two-way communication to ensure timely escalation and collaboration with both local India Hub stakeholders and U.S.-based teams.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in physical security operations, crisis management, emergency services, safety & compliance or related field
• 3+ years of experience in a security systems IT oriented role, including experience supporting security systems such as access control, CCTV, visitor management, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

:

Monitor IBKR's access control system, investigate alarms, and initiate a response when necessary.

Produce access control reports in support of investigations and policy adherence.

Complete IBKR access badging operations (badge production, temporary badges, activations, deactivations, modifications, reclamations)

Complete VPN token operations (assignments, reclamations, safekeeping)

Actively monitor the CCTV system by completing daily tours of site cameras, and report observed safety and security concerns.

Conduct CCTV reviews in support of security and compliance investigations.

Complete visitor management requests and ensure adherence to visitor management protocols.

Complete daily site walkthroughs. Observe, report, and document all unusual/unsafe activity and take appropriate action as required.

Assist with emergency response to safety and security events.

Ensure all security systems function properly and report any system outages and/or technological issues.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Corporate Security Analyst to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of Corporate Security's strategic objectives and Toast's overarching goals, and will effectively achieve these in collaboration with the team. This role will be pivotal in safeguarding Toast's assets, reputation, and information through the implementation and management of comprehensive security solutions, the promotion of security awareness, and the assurance of resilience against emerging threats. This position will necessitate significant collaboration with various Infosec teams, R&D, and other internal teams to uphold a robust security posture. The Senior Security Analyst will also provide guidance and mentorship to junior security analysts, demonstrating exemplary security skills, contributing to policy and document creation, maintaining strong communication, and assisting leadership and management in assuming additional ownership.

A Day in Life (Responsibilities)

Vendor Security 

• Conduct security risk assessments for vendors (onboarding and annual), review their security reports (SOC2), and continuously monitor their security posture.
• Perform risk scoring, provide security recommendations, track and respond to security breaches involving vendors, and oversee the remediation of third-party vulnerabilities.
• Drive Security Improvement Initiatives: Coordinate with procurement teams, GRC team and other stakeholders to enhance the overall security related to third-party risks.

SAAS Security & Endpoint Security

• Supervise the deployment and operation of tools designed to identify installed software on endpoints and conduct comprehensive risk assessments of non-approved software.
• Liaise with Technical Governance for compliance oversight and action, facilitating the resolution of alerts, user account validations, and application misconfigurations.
• Develop and manage programs to conduct quarterly assessments of high/critical application vulnerabilities identified by Crowdstrike and all Chrome extensions utilized by Toasters, evaluating their actual risk.

Security Awareness Training Program & Phishing Simulation

• Oversee the initiation and implementation of organization-wide security awareness training programs.
• Engage in collaborative efforts with internal teams and external vendors to develop and deliver comprehensive training content.
• Administer phishing simulations for all employees.

G-Suite and Data Loss Prevention (DLP)

• Proactively identify opportunities within G-Suite to strengthen the security posture and provide comprehensive security recommendations to the IT Operations Team for implementation.
• Investigate and propose Data Loss Prevention functionalities across key Toast data exchange platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack).

Corporate Security Team Responsibilities & Documentation

• Collaborate with the multiple stakeholders to precisely delineate responsibilities and identify tasks for the Corporate Security team, thereby precluding operational redundancies.
• Review and update policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and runbooks in coordination with the Technical Governance team.

Security Tool Implementation and Management

• Demonstrated proficiency in the utilization of Identity and Access Management tools (Okta, BeyondTrust) to ensure secure access and authentication, and privileged access management.
• Possesses expertise in the BeyondCorp (Zero Trust) security model and its implementation for perimeterless security.
• Adept in patch management, encompassing processes, tools, and the timely application of security updates.

AI Automation

• Proactively identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through process automation and the strategic implementation of AI tools within security operations.

Work Mode: This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.

**CORE WORK ACTIVITIES**
**Managing Security/Loss Prevention Operations**
- Assists the Director of Engineering in administering fire prevention programs and emergency preparedness.
- Conducts hazard and risk assessments at the property to include quarterly OSHA/SAFETY audits, incident tracking, and the hazard abatement process.
- Develops detailed "shut down" procedures for the property to ensure that all areas are secured at the appropriate times.
- Comply with applicable laws and safety regulations.
- Follow proper key control guidelines in loss prevention and in the property.
- Develop a monthly checklist for all cctv equipment, alarmed doors, and duress alarms to ensure that they are fully functional.
- Incorporate into patrols, which encompass all areas of the property's interior and exterior, an inspection tour of recording system.
- Follow Duty of Care process for the protection of guests and employees.
- Follows up on all unusual activities in and around the property that would impair the well being of guests and employees.
- Handles complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others.
