Purpose of the role
The Manager – Tax Technology & Data will be responsible for driving the European tax transformation agenda by developing and executing tax technology and data strategies in collaboration with the Head of Tax Transformation Europe, GBS Bangalore, and the EUR Tax Director. This role will focus on leveraging digital tools and data to enhance tax compliance, reporting, and planning, while ensuring alignment with broader finance transformation initiatives, ultimately supporting AB InBev Tax Europe’s vision of a fully dedicated and integrated Tax Data & Transformation cell.
Key tasks & accountabilities
- Direct reporting line into ATR GBS, with a dotted line reporting to the European Tax Director.
- Partner with the Head of Tax Transformation Europe to shape and execute the (European) tax technology and data strategy.
Tax Data & technology-related
- Lead the implementation of tax data models, automation tools, and digital solutions to support compliance, reporting, and planning across European markets.
- Ensure tax data integrity and audit readiness in line with European regulatory requirements.
- Closely collaborate with European tax, finance, and IT teams to embed tax requirements into broader digital transformation programs.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and analytics (e.g., Power BI) to provide insights into tax positions and risks.
- Support the implementation and optimization of ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA) with a focus on tax-relevant modules.
- Contribute to the development of a centralized tax data platform and reporting framework for Europe.
- Act as a liaison between tax, IT, and (external) vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Establishes the framework for the local tax team to ensure timely execution of compliance obligations and aligns with key stakeholders on optimal team setup and responsibilities.

- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Can lead change end-to-end, including effective change management across stakeholders and systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
