You will be responsible for supporting the functionality and operating rhythm of the Buying department including all aspects of administration and sample management to ensure that all purchase orders are carried out with accuracy and efficiency. We are looking for someone who has a high level of attention to detail, planning and the ability to meet deadlines. It is essential that you are able to work autonomously and have the skillset to problem solve and make confident decisions that will support the function of each department. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

•   Ideally, you are a graduate in either Fashion, Textiles or Production
•   Previous experience in retail or another fast-paced environment.

  • Responsible for supervising mechanical maintenance and ensuring the optimal performance of all preparation machines.
  • Leading a team of mechanics on ensuring preventive and corrective maintenance plans to maintain the machines at their original condition
  • Maintain / Improve the machine availability and efficiency to achieve the production targets with quality standards

2. Key Responsibilities:

Preventive Maintenance Planning & Execution

  • Effectively implement the maintenance plan and schedules on time
  • Supervise and ensure the preventive and corrective maintenance in blow room, carding, draw frames, unilap, comber and roving
  • Monitor mechanical condition, safety switches and performance of machines
  • Condition of the components to be ensured through checklist during maintenance works
  • Ensure proper lubrication schedule, various settings and calibration as per manufacturer instruction manuals.
  • Continuously improve the maintenance plan to maintain the machines in best condition.
  • Maintain all the maintenance records like logbooks, Machine history, and checklists etc.

Breakdown Maintenance

  • Quickly respond to mechanical failures or breakdowns with minimum downtime by systematically acting on various reasons for the breakdown.
  • Root cause analysis to be done for breaks downs. Preventive measures to be implemented to eliminate the recurrence of same type of breakdowns
  • Maintain the Breakdown analysis record for major breakdowns and maintenance logbooks to record all breakdowns.

Inventory and spare parts

  • Monitor spare parts inventory and make purchase requests in time considering the purchase lead time.
  • Essential spares must be Maintained in stock to avoid machine downtime.
  • Spares must be ordered for the exact quantities required based on consumption rate to avoid nonmoving stocks in warehouse and inventory cost.

Team management

  • Lead and train the maintenance technicians for right work method and standard operating procedures on all maintenance works.
  • Allocate and follow up daily maintenance works, Shift works and emergency works
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of tools, spares and Lubricants

Technical Skills:
