The Role
This is not a behind-the-scenes leadership role. As Creative Director, you’ll lead from the front — conceptually, strategically, and culturally. You’ll be responsible for the creative integrity of everything that leaves the agency, from pitch decks to large-scale campaigns.
You’ll work directly with the CEO and Strategy Head to shape the creative vision of the agency, mentor cross-functional teams, and raise the bar on both thinking and craft.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creative direction across all accounts — from idea to execution
- Guide and inspire a team of designers, writers, editors, and freelancers
- Translate strategic insight into compelling creative ideas and narratives
- Review and refine work to ensure quality, originality, and brand alignment
- Present creative work with confidence — internally and to clients
- Push experimentation and innovation within the creative process
- Collaborate closely with strategy, account, and production teams
- Play an active role in business growth, pitches, and agency culture
What You Bring
- 8+ years in a creative leadership role within a branding, advertising, or digital agency
- A diverse portfolio that shows campaign thinking, strong craft, and cross-platform storytelling
- Deep understanding of brand building, consumer behavior, and cultural relevance
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and mentoring creative talent
- Comfort presenting to clients, defending ideas, and selling work with conviction
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Design, Communication, or related field
- Curiosity, resilience, and a drive to do the best work of your career

Requirements & Skills:

● Experience working in B2B SaaS preferred; familiarity with tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and video editing platforms is a plus.

Company Background -
Stroll is a B2C dating app - a small team of 6, we've done 2 large private beta testing rounds in singapore - we're currently going through the likely final round of design and code refactoring.
When we go for a hard launch in approx. 2-3 months - we plan to take over Singapore and immediately, New York/ Sydney/Melbourne right after.
Pay is ok but isn't the BEST for a start, but as a core marketing hire working with me closely, if you're truly an A player your pay should exponentially increase - just like all successful startups.
Usually I'll tell candidates to download the app to check it out for themselves before applying but we're doing some code refactoring - so the app on app stores is currently "down"
