  • Evaluating the performance of improved varieties under diverse environmental conditions.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's or Ph.D. in Agronomy, Plant Breeding, Genetics, or a closely related field. A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in crop breeding and genetics research is required. Demonstrated experience with molecular breeding techniques and statistical analysis of agricultural data is essential. Strong knowledge of experimental design, field plot techniques, and germplasm evaluation is necessary. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and scientific communication skills are crucial. Familiarity with GIS and remote sensing applications in agriculture is a plus. This position is based in Vijayawada and requires a strong on-site presence for field research and laboratory work.
