We have a reputable client who is seeking to add a salesman to their business in the Gibson County Indiana area to focus solely on crop insurance to farmers. You will have the opportunity to work with some current clients but seeking someone with local farmer ties and connections to be driven to go out and build business. This is an opportunity to focus on building relationships, providing exceptional customer service and building a strong connection to your customers so they buy from you year after year. You have to love agriculture and customer service and talking to farmers. If that's you, then this could be an exceptional career path for you!   • A successful candidate will possess the following:
  • Strong drive to go out, network, meet people and call their network to provide them crop insurance.
  • Solid farm background and experience selling direct to farmers is a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit - the more you sell, the more you make.
  • 2+ years of Ag sales experience, preferably direct to farmer.
  • Ability to pass your insurance exam.
  • Be a local of the Gibson Co Indiana or surrounding areas.
  • Compensation: This organization is unlike many insurance companies that only provide a base for the first year, in this role you will receive a competitive base salary dependent on your experience as well as strong commissions.
