Key Responsibilities of the Assistant People and Culture Manager :
-Supports the smooth running of the Human Resources Department, where all areas of responsibility are managed and delivered to the highest levels
-Works proactively to maximize the guest service and the team experience, delivering a positive and responsive approach to enquiries and problem resolution
-Delivers on plans where human resources initiatives & hotel targets are achieved
-Works with key stakeholders, effectively managing and reviewing the life cycle of the team within the hotel, fostering a culture of growth, development and performance
-Responsible for the Human Resources budget and training plan, where together with management, facilitates the evaluation of team performance

As our People and Culture, Country Manager India, you will be based out of our Bangalore office with a hybrid working model, reporting to our People and Culture lead for UKI & APJ.
In this role, you will work as an individual contributor at a strategic level, collaborating closely with the Country leaders, HR Business Partner(s) and be part of the EMEA P&C Team consisting of regional and global HRBPs, HR Managers and Generalists helping Celonis to successfully grow. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with your colleagues across the global People & Culture Team.
**The Role:**
In this role, you play a critical role in the growth of the region. You will work on a wide range of international People & Culture management topics to design, optimize and implement diverse people processes and projects. Your daily tasks include a range of operational and project HR work in an international context. You will act as the first point of contact to leaders in India for all People-related matters. You must have a very good understanding of the India labor legislation and compliance regulations.
**The work you'll do:**
+ You will partner with the business and P&C team on growth of the India region. Sharing insights, recommendations and market practice.
+ You will partner with the country leader for India and the local Work Place representative to further build and enable a local culture based on Celonis values and principles where people can thrive.
+ You will look after the employees on personnel-related and legal issues from onboarding to departure, including internal mobility.
+ You will support our global HRBPs in the execution of the business P&C strategy with country managers and solve country People topics.
+ You will partner with country leaders and work on people programs, performance issues and give administrative support in various People topics.
+ In collaboration with our People Operations team you will create documents as well as reports and analyses.

+ You will be responsible for any visa and immigration compliance

**The qualifications you need:**
+ A university degree in the fields of business administration, social sciences, law or psychology, ideally with focus on HR Management
+ 10+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a rapidly growing constantly changing environment
+ International experience with working in a global approach to people and culture strategy.
+ Previous HRBP experience working with executives and senior leaders
+ Knowledge and hands on experience with India labor legislation and strong interest in related topics

This role is about shaping a workplace people want to stay in, grow in, and be proud of.Key ResponsibilitiesCulture & Organizational HealthLead the long-term cultural vision of the organization—designing and implementing programs that bring our mission, values, and leadership principles to life.Act as a culture steward across functions and geographies, ensuring our values show up consistently in behaviors, decisions, and systems.Use employee data (engagement surveys, feedback loops, etc.) to track organizational health and drive meaningful change.Coach and support leaders in managing employee relations, resolving challenges, and fostering a positive, high-trust team environment.Engagement & Employee ExperienceOwn the end-to-end employee engagement roadmap, from strategy to execution. Design initiatives that drive connection, recognition, wellness, and purpose across all levels of the company.Lead company-wide engagement and feedback loops. Analyze findings, present key themes to leadership, and manage follow-through on improvement plans.Curate internal programs and rituals that foster trust, team bonding, and psychological safety especially in hybrid or distributed work settings.Implement tools and initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and organizational effectiveness.Continuously gather and respond to feedback through formal and informal channels, ensuring timely, visible action.Lead holistic employee experience programs that prioritize mental health, wellness, and work-life balance.Internal Communication & StorytellingDevelop and lead a clear, consistent internal communications strategy that reflects our tone, values, and goals.Enable leadership transparency through well-structured communications and open forums.Spot and amplify the stories that matter - recognizing people, moments, and milestones that reinforce our culture and shape internal brand perception.Onboarding & IntegrationRedesign and continuously improve the onboarding experience to ensure every new hire feels welcomed, aligned, and set up for success from day one.Partner with cross-functional leaders to create orientation content that reflects company culture, goals, and ways of working.Establish onboarding KPIs and track their impact on ramp-up speed, early engagement, and long-term retention.Leadership Enablement & DevelopmentServe as a strategic thought partner to senior leadership on all things related to culture, change, and people growth.Equip people managers with the tools, skills, and mindsets to lead effectively through training, toolkits, and 1:1 coaching.Lead programs around emotional intelligence, inclusive leadership, and team dynamics to build a shared leadership philosophy across the organization.Qualifications12+ years of progressive experience in HR, People & Culture, or Organizational Development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.A track record of driving culture, engagement, and leadership development in scaling, high-growth environments.Deep expertise in org design, talent strategy, performance management, and employee experience.Strong communicator with executive presence and the ability to influence across levels and regions.Skilled in people analytics, internal communications, DEI, and remote/hybrid team dynamics.Bachelor’s degree required.
