The Research Manager, Customer & Market Insights is an insight expert responsible for independently delivering OpCo level research programs that support everything from setting business strategy to guiding new product development. The job holder ensures that key global stakeholders have an appropriate and timely understanding of their customers and markets and that this insight is utilized to drive decision making.

What you will do:
+ Engaging key OpCo stakeholders to prioritize & shape bespoke primary and secondary research programs to drive critical, often complex, business decisions.
+ Delivering the programs required to support the creation and subsequent execution of OpCo strategy.
+ Delivering programs that align to the new product (ORP/PLP) processes supporting development from the early identification of customer needs/requirements to evaluating late-stage prototypes
+ Supporting the Senior Manager in synthesizing and interpreting insights from both primary and secondary research.
+ Supporting the Senior Manager in driving market orientation in the relevant OpCos including facilitating insight activation and consulting to guide business decision making.
+ Supporting Senior Managers in providing on-the-job training, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members based in Bangalore.
Who you are:
+ Bachelor's Degree is required, MBA or relevant graduate degree an advantage.
+ At least 5 years' experience in customer insight, market research or a related field ideally within a research agency
+ At least 2+ years' experience working across multiple regions and levels within an organization.
+ Proficient in quantitative and qualitative research with end-to-end experience i.e. from briefing to final reporting and delivery

The Research Operations Manager, Customer & Market insights is the essential backbone of the team, enabling and enhancing team performance through efficiency, training and innovation while supporting the team in the journey of democratizing insight to drive a market orientation across Cytiva. What you will do:
+ Ways of Working: Identifying and delivering a program of initiatives to improve team ways of working including opportunities for standardization, the creation of templates, the introduction of new team and business processes and tools including for example AI/ML or other novel approaches.
+ Communications Lead: Create and ensure delivery of a Cytiva business knowledge sharing calendar as well as the Customer & Market Insights team meeting and events calendar, coordinating with the Senior Managers to identify and deliver appropriate content.
