Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Architect to join our team.

• Create scalable, reliable, and cost-effective solutions for both cloud and on-premises environments with a focus on quality, best-practice coding standards, and cost-effectiveness

• Strong experience in designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise-level data warehouses
• Hands-on expertise in dimensional modeling technique
• Proficiency in data modeling tools (e.g. Erwin, Visio, or similar)
• Experience working with ETL processes and BI modeling tools (Power BI, Tableau)

About the Role:

This is a critical position that requires strong technical skills, experience, and knowledge of cloud-based data platforms, including AWS (Glue, Athena, Redshift) and Snowflake.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of big data analytics, data warehousing, and business intelligence, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Overall experience range of 10-15 years is preferred
- At least 3 years of experience with AWS
- At least 3 years of experience in Spark/Pyspark
- Experience of designing enterprise scale data warehouse/data marts/data lake
- Exposure to cloud native data warehouses such as redshift
- Excellent understanding of AWS storage, and it's compute services. Able to effectively use of AWS managed services - Step function, EMR, Lambda, Glue and Athena.
- Experience in a solution architecture role and in hosting solutions over private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS and SaaS platforms.

**Good to have**:

- Multicloud & modernization exposure
- Hands-on expertise on Java, SQL, Integrations (Webservices)

We are seeking an experienced **Cloud Data Architect with strong expertise in Databricks** to lead and deliver end-to-end data architecture solutions across cloud-based delivery projects. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with cloud data ecosystems (Azure, AWS, or GCP), data engineering, and hands-on delivery using **Databricks for data transformation, advanced analytics, and AI/ML use cases** .
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Own the architecture and design of modern data platforms using **Databricks** on cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP).
+ Develop scalable, high-performance **data lakehouse architectures** , incorporating Delta Lake and structured streaming.
+ Architect robust **data pipelines (ETL/ELT)** using PySpark, SparkSQL, and Databricks notebooks.
+ Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and engineering teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical architecture.
+ Optimize data processing workflows for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
+ Implement best practices around **data governance, security, lineage** , and **compliance** in cloud-native environments.
+ Enable analytics, BI, and ML initiatives by ensuring strong data foundations.
+ Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers and data modelers.
+ Drive innovation and continuously evaluate emerging technologies in the data and AI space.
**Required Skills & Experience:**
+ 10+ years of experience in data architecture, engineering, or analytics roles.
+ Strong hands-on experience with **Databricks** including **Delta Lake** , **Spark** , and **MLflow** .
+ Expertise in **cloud platforms** (preferably **Azure** , but AWS/GCP also considered) and **native cloud data services** like Azure Data Lake Storage, Synapse, AWS S3, Redshift, or GCP BigQuery.
+ Strong command of **SQL, PySpark, SparkSQL** , and distributed data processing.
+ Solid experience in **data modeling** (dimensional and normalized), metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
+ Strong understanding of **DevOps/DataOps** , CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform).
+ Experience implementing **data security, RBAC, and encryption** in cloud environments.
+ Excellent stakeholder communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
**Preferred Skills and Experience:**
+ Certification in **Databricks** (e.g., Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional or Lakehouse Fundamentals).
+ Cloud certifications (Azure Solutions/Data Engineer, AWS Data Analytics, GCP Data Engineer).
+ Experience with **machine learning workflows** , **feature stores** , or **real-time analytics** .
+ Familiarity with **data cataloging tools** like Unity Catalog, Purview, or Collibra.
