Responsible for effective delivery of technical support and installations. This will include break-fix tasks,
includes hardware, network, cabling and rack deployments, site planning, problem escalation and managing
installations in an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) datacenter.
Prioritize ticketing queues, resolving escalations, and clearing blocking issues to enable continued delivery of
technician activities in accordance with internal polices and service level agreements.

+ Building strong working relationships with people working within the data center and at corporate.
+ Ensuring SAW devices are in a "healthy" state, meeting Security's compliance standard.
+ Receiving confidential information to perform BIOS setting changes.
+ Managing SAW inventory, including ordering, receiving, assigning/re-assigning, and decommissioning devices.
+ Providing guidance to users for common SAW repair issues and escalating issues experienced by users.
+ Performing Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) for SAWs damaged within the first 30 days of receipt.
+ Providing Senior Data center Technician-level support when needed. Responsibilities include performing power cycles, swap out failed components, handling storage media, and perform troubleshooting when needed. Also, performing cable installations, hardware rack / stack installations, testing, and troubleshooting using standard data center processes.
+ Supporting the deployment of on-site DC physical infrastructure including Servers, NetDevices, SANs, Windows Server OS Support, Parts/Component replacement and physical hardware troubleshooting when needed.
+ Assisting Data center Inventory and Asset Management Team with shipping/receiving and inventory management to address high work volumes as required.

Key job responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain Linux-based server infrastructures with a focus on reliability and scalability.
Perform comprehensive system monitoring, diagnostics, and performance optimization
Configure and manage network hardware, including switches, routers, and complex cabling systems
Develop and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless technological integration.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related technical field
- Proficiency in network protocols and network hardware configuration
- Experience with network configuration and hardware troubleshooting
- Comprehensive understanding of Linux/Unix administration principles
- Proficiency in server booting technologies (POST, BIOS, PXE, Kickstart, GRUB/LILO)
- Knowledge of network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, Ethernet, L2/L3
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in network operating systems (Cisco IOS, NX-OS, JunOS)
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services
- Advanced scripting and automation skills
- Experience in large-scale data center operations
