About the Role:

As an Lead Business Analyst, Data Control you will:

  • Acts as a liaison for internal to Thomson Reuters groups including and not limited to Data and Analytics, Responsible Data and AI and Business and Compliance Groups.
  • Collects and synthesizes data to document requirements, translates into detailed governance solutions enabling Trusted and Responsible Data and AI practices.
  • May work as the non-technical expert for one or more large, complex projects translating requirements into governance documentation, monitoring of the requirements, proof of concept completions and successful adoptions.
  • Responsible for review of products, tools and platforms, regulations and/or laws and associated compliance
  • Depending on the nature of the project, undertakes a combination of project management, technical/non-technical implementation, and analyst tasks.
  • Provides guidance and facilitation to less experienced staff or may provide technical/non-technical domain expertise to groups especially on strategic priorities.
  • Recommends and validates technical/non-technical solutions to meet governance and compliance requirements based on understanding of how solutions will impact the business and stakeholders as required.
  • Implementation of Risk and Control framework, monitoring inherent and residual risks changes, control implementations and documentations for Product/Project/Initiative/Mergers and acquisition engagements.
  • Monitor, manage, measure success of policy and data standards enforcement throughout data/product/AI lifecycle to ensure compliance with legal and multi-jurisdictional requirements.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs/OKR).
  • Develops extensive understanding of multiple Thomson Reuters technologies, products, and services.
  • Provides strong leadership in many areas including defining/improving standards, mentoring less experienced colleagues, and implementation / project management of critical projects.

  • Qualifications :
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+years of proven experience as a Lead Data Business Analyst or in a similar role, with leadership experience.
  • Ability to translate business issues, requirements into actionable plans, make timely and effective accurate/complete decisions for positive impact
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously with high degree of accuracy, completeness and timeliness.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with data and governance frameworks and analytics tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Atlan, Immuta, OneTrust).
  • Knowledge of Control/governance and Responsible Data and AI data best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of multi-jurisdictional requirements.
  • Comfortable leading meetings and possess strong influencing and networking skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in designing and managing KPIs, and OKRs for data control/ governance.
  • Certification in data management or governance (e.g., DCAM, CDMP, CIPP) is a plus

    • Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels, reduce waste, and align with data center operational needs.
    • Process Development : Drive the creation and enforcement of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory handling, storage, and tracking, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
    • Project & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate across supply chain, procurement, construction management, and engineering teams to ensure inventory strategy supports evolving project needs. Escalate critical material risks and drive cross-functional resolution.
    • 3PL and Vendor Management : Serve as the primary point of contact for third-party logistics providers (3PL), overseeing compliance with SLAs, process adherence, and real-time problem resolution. Ensure the 3PL’s activities align with project timelines, quality standards, and audit requirements.
    • Build Phase Logistics & Material Flow :Coordinate closely with build teams and 3PL partners to ensure materials arrive on time, are accurately received, and flow continuously to meet aggressive project schedules. Identify and resolve blockers to minimize build delays.
    • Team Leadership : Mentor and guide junior inventory specialists, providing training, support, and regular feedback. Foster a culture of accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
    • Technology Optimization : Manage and utilize inventory systems to track stock levels, streamline processes, and ensure data accuracy. Support bulk uploads, integrations, and reporting initiatives.
    • Analytics & Reporting: Generate actionable insights from inventory data using advanced reporting and analytics. Monitor key KPIs such as inventory accuracy, material velocity, and shrinkage, and provide leadership with strategic recommendations.

    Must Have Skills/Qualifications:

    • 8+ years of experience Supporting Inventory Control, Logistics, or Warehouse Management
    • Familiarity with IT hardware and components commonly used in data center environments.
    • Proficiency in inventory management systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms. Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with barcoding and labeling systems are required.
    • Experience managing third-party logistics providers or vendors.
    • Physically able to perform material handling tasks (moving, storing, lifting etc.)

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
    + Manage the global speak-up platform and case management system-an external, cloudbased solution-ensuring timely user access, continuous user-focused adaptation and configuration of new modules, workflows and domain security via self-editing tools or, when needed, by coordinating with the software provider to implement platform modifications.
    + Develop test cases to confirm that platform changes align with business requirements and are suitable for production deployment.
    + Provide timely responses to requests for data related to integrity investigations or any information housed within the case management system.
    + Develop and maintain databases, dashboards, reports, and visualizations to inform key business decisions, while monitoring data quality and ensuring consistency and accuracy across all outputs. Assets may be integrated into the case management system or hosted externally on platforms such as MS Excel or PowerBI.
    + Deliver insights and reports based on data available to the Business Integrity team.
    + Oversee data migration processes resulting from changes in system providers, acquisitions, or disposals within the Unilever group.
    + Ensure all systems and documentation are prepared and maintained in accordance with audit requirements.
    + Support end-users throughout phase rollouts by facilitating drop-in sessions, providing job aids and training, and collecting feedback. Analyze recurring themes in user input and either action or log them for further review.
    + Utilize various methods to collect, analyze, verify, and manage requirements across the organization to support projects and drive system improvements.
    + Partner with IT to manage platform-related security enhancements, user accounts, and access permissions.
    + Support additional administrative activities related to the operation of the global Business Integrity programme, which may include SharePoint development and the management of policies and training materials.
    KEY REQUIREMENTS:
    + Undergraduate degree required in a relevant area
    + At least 5 years' relevant experience
    + Previous similar role in a multinational corporation
    + Strong record of management of highly confidential and sensitive matters
    + Knowledge of integrity, ethics, compliance, HR, or incident management systems (e.g., Convercent/EQS, Navan, Resolver, GANIntegrity, SpeakUp, Whispli)
    + Skills in SharePoint, PowerBI, Excel. More advanced proficiency in analytics-such as experience with data modelling, predictive analytics, or using statistical programming languages (e.g., Python, R)-would strengthen the ability to deliver insights.
